Just add water

I wake up to the smell of coffe. Ahhh so nice. I open my eyes and everything's a blur.

"Morning." Mason said

My head bolted in his direction

"H-hi" I managed

"Are we good?" he said Geez, I just woke up, and he's asking about our relationship status!

"I guess s-so"

"Good" he said and smiled

A nurse walked in, "You can leave whenever your ready." She removes my IV. "you have all the info?" She asked Mason. "Yup" he holds up a file

We finally mske it to the car and sit in silence.

"I'm sorry." I blurt

"Stop, you didn't do anything wrong. It was your meds"

He was hurt, I could tell.

I nod and look out the window. Not wanting to talk anymore.

We arrive at his house and when he opens the door there's tons of boxes.

"What are all these?" i ask
