"Okay thanks for dropping by. Love you."

"Mason?" I call after I hear my moms car leave

He walks in and his face and eyes are as red as a tomotato.

"Are you okay?" I stand up and walk over to him, but he backs away.

"This is all my fault." He says in a shaky voice. "What? No, no it's not. Its nobody's fault." I try to go in for a hug but he backs away again.

"We can't do this Bethany." he says

"Do what?" I'm nervous

"This whole thing we've got going on. I lead you to belive you were going to have a child, a child that you would love! But it will never happen!"

I stare at him.

"What are you saying?"

"We can't be together."

"Yes, we can. Why are you doing this?"

"To help you!"

"You're only hurting me by breaking my heart Mason!"

"I just want you to be normal again, Beth."

"Nothing." He walks out.
