Chapter 1- First Day of School

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, I deactivated the alarm, looked at what time it is. The lights of the clock was blaring 6:31 A.M. Damn, it's an hour early; I decided to take a shower.

As I go down the hallway, I hear the sound of someone's steps on the floor, it's dark as hell, so I shouted out, "Mom?", in response, "Sethy, I can't see you.", I was relieved at the fact that it was my sister, so I found the hallway light and turned it on. My sister was standing there, lost, with her teddy bear in hand. 

"Ashley, what are you doing out here so early?" She looked around and hesitated, "I-i heard some footsteps and I wanted to make sure it was someone I know in here." I looked at her and she seemed scared. 

At first, I thought it was about the haunting, but she didn't seem to be THAT scared, but I figured she still hadn't gotten comfortable with the new home. I had told her to get ready for school- I quickly walked to the shower, which ironically, was waiting for me while I spoke to my sister. I stood in the shower, thinking about what should I do for the first day of school. As I continue to think, I hear a step, then another, and someone whisper my name. 

At first I thought it was just my imagination, but a couple moments later, I was struck with paralysis out of nowhere as I get a mental attack, and was struggling to maintain my conscious and moments later, I was able to move... I rushed out of the shower and got ready for school.

I looked at my clock and it was blaring "7:11 A.M" My mom comes in as I put my belt on and about to fix my hair. "Seth, it's your first day of school, I don't want to hear bullshit about your behavior. I need you to fix yourself." I had rolled my eyes to what she had said and headed to the bathroom, "Fine", I had said with an annoyed tone.

When I was heading out the door, I looked at my phone and noticed I had several messages, but the time was 7:28 A.M ; my mom had shouted out "I love you!", I ignored her as I put my headphones in and started listening to Paramore as I got on the school bus this school called "Riveredge High." Apparently I see no reason why the school is so magnificent, but I guess I can put up with another school, even though it will be same as other schools I have gone too..

A/N: Soooo sorry for the late update!!!! I have about 9 more chapters written in and school, of course, got in the way! Working on typing the other chapters at the moment! Thank you !!! Help share the story please!!! :)
