Lucas' Night Over

Chapter 10:

I walk back up the stairs after my mom left and Lucas was sitting on my bed, talking to Fran. "Hold on, I'm going to tell Ashley to go to bed." I told them when I saw them.

Ashley was getting ready to sleep as I walked in, "How long do you think mum's gunna be gone Seth?" I tucked her with her blankets and answered as I walked to the door, "I don't know Ashley, I don't know anything about her job. But, she'll let me know soon."

I turned off the light and left the door slightly open, "Get some rest Ashley. Everything will be fine." I heard her sigh to a deep sleep as I walked back to my room.

Lucas and Fran were still talking as I walked in. "Okay, I have to go back to the Heavenly Realms. I can't stay over the night here." Fran opened a portal and gave us a farewell before she disappeared to her world,

The portal closed after Fran flied to the portal. "I guess we're the only ones here, don't you have to get home Lucas?" He turned to look at me and said, "Not really, my mom is out of town too, she said I can hang out with you while she's gone if you don't mind."

To be honest, I would like for Lucas to keep me company for a while, I need someone to help keep my sanity leveled. I guess I could be so embarrased to have someone stay with me. Besides, he knows this neighborhood more than I do. I may get information from him about this neighborhood that I may need.

"Do you mind I stay here with you?" Lucas asked, with a light in his eyes. I looked at him and smiled, admiring his genuine side and said, "Sure you can, but don't expect your night over to be filled with fun. I don't do much at night since I sleep early and all."

Lucas smirked at my response and said, "No problem Seth. I don't expect to have a night full of fun, besides, we recently met. I doubt anything like that will happen. I'll most likely watch TV and movies. Is that okay for you?" I paused for a moment in astonishment with what Lucas said. Usually people I'd meet like to go wild at night, but seems like Lucas had enough from us being assaulted earlier in the day. "Sure, that's fine. If you need a bed, pull the handle at the bottom of the couch, and there are pillows and blankets in the closet to your right. Don't worry, they're washed yesterday since my mom knows I stay up and watch movies often."

Lucas jumped on the couch and began to look for a channel to watch. "Goodnight Seth. I'll see you tomorrow." He said as I was going up the stairs."
