Finding You

Chapter 14

Joel's POV:

"You kissed her" Reed nearly yelled. I nodded. Reed jumped on the couch next to me. "I thought she was supposed to kiss me" He pointed at himself. I shrugged. "Yeah, when you guys were supposed to date" I quoted. Reed sucked his tongue at me. "You know what, I don't care have fun with Ellie your relationship" Reed got up from the couch and headed towards the door, before slamming it shut, leaving.

It was only 9pm after the dance. I decided to get ready for bed. I walked to my room and changed in a plain white tank top and basketball shorts. I brushed my teeth and laid down on my bed.

Before going to sleep I got a text from my ex-girlfriend, Liana.

Hey I got something interesting to show you ;)

Why is she texting me now?

I texted back in less then a second.

What..?

She sent me a picture of Ellie and I kissing, at the dance. I was terrified.

What are you going to do with that?

You'll find out ;)

I turned my phone off and set it next to my bed. I was scared for tomorrow.

What would my fans say? What would Ellie's mom say, if she found out? How would people at school react?

I decided to stop worrying what would happen tomorrow and fall asleep.

Ellie's POV:

While I was sleeping I heard my phones ringtone, to Pass Me By, play. I groaned and turned in my bed towards my bed side table. I checked my phone and saw I had 80+ notifications on Twitter. "What the hell?" I asked myself while opening inbox.

When I opened it I saw a picture of Joel and I kissing. I quickly shot up in my bed and panicked.

What if my mom sees this? What would people say?

I checked through the rest of the tweets that people sent. Most of them were hateful and their were some people who shipped, "Jollie." I laughed at the ship name. I decided to tweet some of the shippers back.

Awe look @JRyan_Official we have a ship name. Thanks for supporters #Jollie

I checked the time and it read 5:15. I groaned louder and rolled out of bed. I knew I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. I headed towards the bathroom and let the water run while I took my time to get inside. When I was done I wrapped a towel around my body and walked into my closet. I threw on a purple t-shirt with blue letters that said, Rock On, with a white peace sign. I put on blue jeans and white and blue vans. I brushed my hair and left it down. When I finished I went downstairs and made pancakes.

I didn't want to spend time here at home because if my mom found out she'll kill me.

I grabbed my backpack and headed towards the door. As soon as I locked it I headed in the direction of the bus stop. Ciara was there waiting, tapping her foot. I rolled my eyes and stood next to her.

She started laughing. "It's unbelievable that you actually got a guy to like you" I heard her say. I crossed my arms as the bus pulled up. I was going to get inside but she tripped me, making my fall on my face. I glared up at her as she played with her hair and laughed to herself. I pulled myself off the floor and walked into the bus. Everyone started laughing and pointing fingers at me. There were people throwing things at me. "Slut" I heard someone say. I rolled my eyes and sat in the back.

Todays going to be a long day.

Joel was outside waiting for me to get off the bus. "Oh look who's there" Ciara said, while laughing. I blushed at the sight of Joel standing there. When the bus stopped everyone pushed and shoved me as I got out. Joel ran up to me and hugged me when he saw me. "I'm sorry" he whispered. I shook my head. "I know you had no intentions of doing it" I said to him. He smiled, making me feel warm inside.

He took my hand in his and walked me inside.

"Hoe" I heard someone say to my left. "Ew they're ugly" someone else said.

"He can do so much better then that I mean he did go out with me" a familiar voice said to me. Joel turned around and so did I. "Oh did you not know we went out" Liana had her arms crossed. I glance over a Joel who shrugged. "It's okay, you're just catching up anyway" Liana touch my shoulder. "Get your hand off of her" Joel pushed Liana away.

"So now you like her" Liana said. Joel stood shocked. "What?" He finally said. Liana laughed. "Ellie, baby, did you not hear that your relationship with Joel was all just a lie so he can go out with me?" She asked. I stepped away from both, Joel and Liana, letting go of his hand.

"You lied to me" I yelled at Joel. He had sorrow in his eyes. "Ellie" He stepped closer to me. I pushed him back. "Don't" I pointed a finger at him. Liana laughed as did everyone else. I was about to walk away until Liana's big mouth interrupted. "Well, I guess it work" she winked at me, while grabbing Joel's arm and pulling him away. I glared at her and walked to first period.

AFTER SCHOOL

"Let's talk about this" Joel pulled my aside. I pushed him off me. "No" I said, firmly, walking away.He threw his hands up.

I was about to get on the bus until Ciara pushed out of the way and walked in instead. I rolled my eyes and saw Reed walk over to me and help me up. "You okay, clumsy" He joked. I smiled. "Yes." I said. "Better hurry" He winked while walking away. I blushed and walked into my bus.

"Two timer" A girl to my right said. "Lil' hoe" another laughed. I rolled my eyes and sat in the back, again, looking out the window. I saw Joel running. I don't know where and I couldn't care less. I decided to take out my headphones and iPod and listen to music. I clicked on the Believe album by Justin Bieber and started listening to Thought Of You.

20 minutes later I saw my stop about a few blocks away. I sighed in relief and put away my headphones and iPod.

When I was heading back to my house I saw Joel sitting on the stairs near my house. He looked straight at me. His hands on his lap. He got up and started head in my direction. I rolled my eyes and kept walking. "Ellie" He said as I got my keys out of my pocket. "Joel" I smiled, sarcastically. "Why are you here?" I added. I jammed the key in the key hole and unlocked my door. I was about to close the door on Joel but he held it open.

"What the hell?" I half yelled. "We need to talk" He said. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over. "We have nothing to talk about" I said while heading towards my room. Of course Joel followed.

"Why are you in my room?" I yelled. He stepped closer, towards me. "I want to tell you something. I was dumb, okay. What Liana said was a lie. None of it was true. At the beginning it was but not anymore" He said stepping closer towards me. My back was against the wall. He placed his right hand on the wall. "So what your saying is the lie, that wasn't a lie, is a lie?" I quoted. He gave me a confused look but shook it off. "What I'm saying is, I love you. Honestly. I have been catching feelings for you" He winked. I blushed. "You did not just reference Justin Bieber" I smiled at him. He nodded, smirking.

Before I could say anything else his lips were on mine. I closes my eyes as I wrapped my arms around his neck. I stroked the back of his hair with my hand as he wrapped his arms around my waist. We were practically making out.

I don't remember how long we were there for until my bedroom door opened.
