Reed's POV:

"Ellie wait" I grabbed her arm before she could walk away. She turned around to face me, she looked down at the ground as she wiped away a few tears. "Ellie listen to me" I spoke. She look up at me with puffy red eyes. I took my hand placing it gently on her cheek. She shook to my touch and I smiled.

"What?" she said crossing her arms and looking away from me. I smirked and gently turned her face so she would look at me.

"I don't like Raven, at all. She kissed me first and I would admit I did like it but I can never hurt that way" I sighed. Ellie rolled her eyes at me and turned to began to walk away.

I wrapped my arms around her waist and placed my head in the crook of her neck. "All I think about is you Ellie, I-" I paused. I couldn't bring myself to say three simple words. I'm to young. Am I? I thought to myself. "I-" I repeated but the same thing happened.

I could see the smile on Ellie's face through the glass window in front of us. "You don't need to say anything" she said turning around to face me. She draped her arms around my neck. "I love you too" she said before her lips crashed onto mine. It didn't feel like the kiss we usually shared. I felt electricity run through my body that I had never felt before. I could feel the butterfly's in my stomach as she pulled away because it was over. She laughed at my facial expression.

We stood there, in silence, taking in each others features for a good ten minutes. "Let's get out of here" I whispered leaning in so our foreheads would touch. She nodded repeatedly, giggling. I unhooked my hands from her waist and grabbed her hand. I pulled her forward leading her out of the trashed up party and out the door.

"Where are we going?" she asked. I looked at her with a smirk. "You'll see you'll love it" I winked.

We walked together down my neighborhood with only the streetlights to light our way. When we finally reached our destination I stopped in my tracks coming up behind Ellie and covering her eyes with my hands. "It's a surprise" I whispered in her ear as I began to walk forward as she did.

Step by step we walked forward until we reached the little hill that led to the entrance of the gardens archway.

"Okay no peeking" I said. Ellie laughed. "Can you let me go now?" she asked. I looked at the scenery in front of me and did as told.
