REED'S POV:
I looked at my watch, checking the time. 2:15 pm. "Why is she not here yet?" I asked myself, looking around the empty apartment complex. I felt a sharp pain on my back. "Yo! What the hell?" I yelled standing up from the sidewalk. I heard a giggle come from behind me as I turned around to face my brother, with a basketball in his hand.
"What?" I ask crossing my arms. "You've been out here for 30 minutes" he said holding the basketball close to him. "I'm waiting for someone" I answered slowly, rubbing my back. "Your girlfriend!" he squealed. I rolled my eyes, shaking my head. He raised an eyebrow. "Mom said you have to go upstairs now" he informed me. "Five more minutes?" I asked. He shook his head, grabbing my arm and dragging me towards the stairs.
"I can go upstairs by myself" I said, angry and annoyed. He stepped back from me with his hands held up in defense. I shook my head and fixed my hair walking up the stairs. I heard my brother mumble something under his breath but I didn't care much to ask what he had said. I reached the top of the stairs and took a turn that lead to my house. I opened the door and rushed towards my bedroom.
Why hasn't she showed up? I groaned hopping into my bunk bed. "Reed" I heard my mom call. I rolled my eyes,"What?" I asked, with a annoyed tone in my voice. "Your friend is here" she said at last. I rolled my eyes annoyed at her absence.
I got up from my bed and made my way towards the front door, scratching the back of my head. "Finally" I whispered. Raven stood there, shrugging, as if there was nothing wrong being half an hour late. I followed her outside and walked her down the stairs towards the pool. "Sorry, my baby sister wouldn't go to sleep and my mom had to wait" Raven apologized to me. i shook my head, "Whatever, I don't care" I said, the anger running through my veins. She crossed her arms and put her weight on one leg. "You're being a bitch today as I can see" she said. I rolled my eyes and walked closer towards her. "I'm sorry" I said. She shook her head, "Whatever, now why did you call my here?" She asked.
I smiled mischievously. "Because Ellie's birthday is coming up" I shook Ravens shoulders. She smiled and walked closer towards me. "And?" she put her hands on my shoulders. "And... I want to surprise her with something special" i added. Raven shrugged, starting to pace around. "How about a party or a romantic day, only you and her" she asked. I nodded. "A party sounds great, then she can invite all her friends and family" I agreed.
Raven smiled, "Then let's get to it, what are her favorite colors?" she asked me. I shrugged,"Well she does like torquiest and purple" I said, thinking about how this would help with anything.
"Great! Then we could put torquiest and purple curtains along the windows and banners coming down from the ceiling" she added. I raised an eyebrow.
"How are we supposed to do that?" I asked. She smiled at me. "I'll take care of it" she said, grabbing my hand. I slid out of her grip and nodded. "Okay, so you want to discuss this after school tomorrow?" I asked her and she nodded.
I started to walk away but Raven put her hand on my shoulder. I raised an eyebrow and shook it off. "My mom isn't coming until an hour, can I stay here?" she asked, a smirk growing across her face. She played with the ends of her hair, fluttering her eyelashes.
"I guess come on" I said, half confused. WTF is she doing trying to be cute? I asked myself in my head. She followed me up the stairs into my room. We sat next to each other on my bed, not saying anything. I looked around my room to avoid the awkwardness but it stayed. "So what do you want to do for an hour?" I asked her. She smiled and leaned in, our face inches apart from one another. I quickly reacted to this and stood up. "Raven, I like you, as a friend, but you know I have Ellie" I said as kindly as possible.
"So what? She won't find out, will she?" she asked coming towards me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I pushed her away from me. I wanted to hind in the closet at this point. Why the fuck would she like me and betray her friend? She shrugged sitting back down on the bed.
"If you don't kiss me then I guess I just won't help you" she patted her lap and shrugged. I groaned, knowing I need her. I don't have money and she does, she's like a millionaire. I groaned once more and kissed her on the cheek. She shook her head. "On the lips" she bit her bottom lip, smirking. I paced around the room, "ugh" I let out a groan. I nodded. "Okay but you promise you won't tell Ellie anything about this?" I asked, a weird expression on my face. Raven nodded, "only if you don't tell" she winked. I felt myself gag.
Idiot
Stupid
Don't do it
She'll find out
I galped. The words repeated in my head as I got down on my knees in front of Raven. This is not happening, I'll regret this. I slowly leaned in not to much, Raven closed the gap. My eyes wide open and I quickly pulled away.
Shit
Yo what's hatnin?
Okay I know I haven't updated but I have a reason. I have been focusing on school b/c I might be failing and and also, I had writers block for like a decade. To add to that, I also didn't find the energy to go on Watt pad.
But I am back on track and going to try and update each week. So let me know what you think? I have a few questions (no one will answer)
First, did you buy Justin Bieber's "Journals?" (I did)
Second, did you watch Believe Movie? (I did)
Third, did you buy Reed's christmas song? (I literally cried for two days)
Fourth, do you like Austin sexy Mahone? (I do)
