You leaned in close
Your strands of hair practically touching the side of my face
My heart starts to beat faster
Such familiarity it recognizes
Remembering the feelings I had once beforeYour scent
Like a drug, I'm intoxicated
Breathing you in
Oh god how much I've missed youHow is it that you keep doing this?
Am I under a spell?
Just the slightest hint of you
And I've no control over myself anymore
You're my kryptonite
You're my vulnerabilityYet I can't let you go
You're bad for me
But I still choose to let you in
Each time the side effects progressively killing me
I'm tired of having you inside my body for so long
And making me feel so wrong afterwards
