Hope
Much like the symbol Superman wears on his chest
It sets me at ease
So I can finally rest
Night versus day
The rain and the sun
Light will prevail in this endless battle
Of Good versus Evil
I will not hide, I will not run
Scurrying into the darkness
Have hope, be hope
Don't sit there and mope
You want something to happen
Make it happen
Even if you think it's unlikely to happen
Much like the sound of one hand clappin
Try and do your best
Give it your all
In the end, you might just surprise yourself
At what has been what you truly are
And that is Hope itself
