bal (mal and ben) oneshots [completed]

Rise

Mal is sitting in the screening room, along with Evie, Doug, Carlos, Jane, Audrey, and Lonnie. They are watching the awards ceremony for the end of the current tourney season.

Although there were awards being handed out, today was also the day players would be chosen to go to the olympics, based on their performance this year.

The names of the players were now being announced by the host of the award show, snow white.

"These following players, have shown that they are more than acceptable to represent Auradon in this years summer olympics.

The players are....

MVP Jay, and Chad Charming!"

The crowd cheeredfor the two players and so did their best friends, Lonnie and Audrey being the loudest.

Ben would've been chosen if it werent for his duties as king. He would be at the opening ceremony though, representing Auradon as their leader.

After the ceremony Ben, Chad and Jay made their way bck to their friends, being congratulated on their way there. Everyone knew about Ben's situation, but still congratulated him anyway.

All three of the boys got a kiss on the lips from their girlfriends, Jay and Audrey's almost turning into a makeout session until the others cleared their throats.

Then Mal got a phone call.

"Hello? Yes this is her. Yeah that's me singing... A- are you serious?!?"

The group looked at each other in confusion.

"Umm.... wow this is crazy! You guys really want me to sing THERE? Oh my goodness yes yes yes a thousand times yes! Great, ill see you gjys soon! Thank you so much!"

Mal hung up tne phone and squealed while jumling up and down, clapping her hands as she did so.

"WHAT WAS THAT?!?" The 9 other people basically yelled.

"THE DIRECTOR OF THE MUSIC FOR THE OLYMPICS CALLED ME AND ASKED ME TO SING AT THE OPENING CEREMONY!"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" The girls squealed.

Ben came over to mal and gave her a bear hug, which soon turned into a group hug.

"Wait how did they find out about your voice?" Carlos asked.

"So apparently a video of me singing at the talent show leaked amd they saw it and here we are now."

The rest of the night was filled with music, partying, laughter and smiles.

Three weeks later

Mal POV

"Oh my gosh Ben what if i mess up what if i trip what if i dont hit a note what if- "

Whenever ben kisses me while im talking is his way of telling me to shut up and calm down.

He kissed me.

"Mal you're amazing, beautiful and couldn't trip or mess up if your life depended on it."

Lies. Lies. Lies.

But I don't say that cuz it annoys Ben when I put myself down, which believe it or not, is quite often.

He kisses me once again, tells me how proud of me his is, and leaves to go take his seat.

I take a deep breath and walk out onstage, the lights slightly blinding me and the crowd temporarily making me deaf.

I get into position and the music starts.

My performance got me a freaking standing ovation.

I couldn't help but cry.

They weren't sad tears they were just tears of happiness/shock/relief.

As soon as i got offstage i saw Ben waiting for me. He had the biggest smile on his face when he pulled me close to him. Our noses touched and he kissed me while i kissed back. He hugged me and we stayed like this for a good 5 minutes until our friends came back and basically tackled me.

Im a really lucky girl.

After all ive been through,

I still rised.
