Snow Storm

A/N the chapters are not in order according to Ben and Mal's lives. One chapter they could've married, then the next chapter they could still be in high school, idk I do what I feel like doing.

Mal POV
It's now winter in auradon, Evie, Jay, Carlos and I have never experienced it because of the barrier on the isle.

It kept out most weather, and it was always cloudy and about 70-75 degrees.

But this is something else.

It's cold. Really cold. Ben said that there was a snow storm coming and that we would have to stay in our dorms.

The weather channel said that the storm wasn't for another 3 hours, and I needed to go to the library to get a book for a report I have to finish.

I grab my gloves, coat, scarf and boots and tell Evie where I'm going.

"Hurry back, that snow storm should be here soon."

"I know, I'll only about 20 minutes."

I grabbed my phone and wallet and walked out of the door.

The library was a 3 minute walk from the school, but the amount of snow made it a 5 minute walk.

I find my book in 10 minutes and check it out.

I walk out of the library to find the wind blowing strong. Snow was blinding my vision and I couldn't see clearly.

I start walking towards what's left of my view of the school. My feet are starting to go numb and I'm freezing.

I get a call from Evie and I accidentally miss it.

I figure focusing on getting back to the school is more important than calling E back.

After 30 seconds of trudging through the 3 foot snow, with winds going 10 miles per hour, I get another call.

This time it's from Ben.

I'm able to answer it the time and when I do I realize the service is terrible in the snow.

Mal: Hello? *Strong wind in the background*
Ben: Mal?!? Where are you?! You're not outside are you?!?
Mal: yeah I'm outside I had to go to the library but when I left the weather wasn't bad, its much worse now.
Ben: MAL COM-
*Call Fails*

Ben sounds really worried.

Maybe this storm is worse than I think it is.

Just as I think that, the wind picks up.

I'm violently shaking now, the temperate is now -10 degrees, I didn't even know it could get that low.

The snow is getting thicker by the second. Snow is blowing in every direction and at this point I don't know if I can make it back to my dorm.

My hands are burning and I'm even colder than before. My phone feels like an ice cube in my hands.

I put my phone in my pocket and try to walk some more. I fail and I end up on my knees. I try to stand up but I can't.
