Erins pov

Lucy! I was so so so glad! I grabbed her and gave her a massive hug. I blushed a little as she must have heard my awful singing. I dont think she saw though, luckily. I offered my page to her and she showed me hers. I gasped at the sight of joe. He was dead. At least we knew mark was alive, for now. I comforted lucy as she solemnly looked around us for danger. I suddenly felt the static. We looked around. I suddenly spotted him. I pointed and lucy dragged me off. We ran through the woods, worried. The static stopped and we slowed, relieved. Something caught lucys eye and she rushed over to it. I saw her face light up a bit as she brought back a picture of her boyfriend, phil. She sighed at his perfect features. Honestly, she was very lucky! She stroked his lips and a bright cross covered his face. She gasped and fell. I was shocked. Suddenly the static drowned us. I tried to pull lucy back up, but she refused, still upset. I sighed, panicking. I dragged her arm and she reluctantly followed me. She jogged along a little. The static started to die down and i saw a slendy tube. I hinted at her to go over to it. She went and slouched against it, tears drowning her face. I sighed as i heard the chilling sound of footsteps. I panicked as i heard them coming nearer and nearer. Lucy suddenly called out. She called maddys name. I sighed, and called her too. I suddenly remembered what she had done. That she had taken my mark. I tried hard not to scowl at her. I suddenly felt static cover our vision. I looked at lucy and could straight away tell she wasn't going to run to save herself. We would all be taken if we waited for her but we couldn't abandon her. She was our best friend. I thought on my feet. I sighed and suddenly came up with an idea. There was no other choice. I called over to maddy and she came up to me. I could tell she also knew lucy wasnt going to make it out alive. I whispered into maddys ear:
'Take Lucy away, far away. Im going to sacrifice myself. Let me make myself straight. This is for Lucy, not you, you took mark!' and she shook her head in disbelief. I rolled my eyes.
'No, erin, i nev.. dont!' She cried.
'Go! Now! ' i cried and started running towards slendy. I turned quickly and blew lucy a quick kiss. I watched them run away safely. I walked up closer to him.
'Hey, slendy. So im here. Here to sacrifice myself and distract you for a bit. Here come get me!' I called and ran back a little, the opposite way to my friends. He slowly followed me.
'Thats it, come to me!' I cried and he quickly came right up in my face and i felt him grab my neck. I slapped his hand and he dropped me. I scrambled up and started to run. He followed and suddenly grabbed my hand. He gave me a black eye and dragged me off into the woods. My vision went blurry as i was dragged off. I dont know what else happened. I hope the others survived. Before i died i realised my page had gone and i had dropped my flashlight. I just hoped that the others had taken it off of me.
