We had dropped the boys off and Liz and I were going to the nearest Starbucks to get food. I don't really drink coffee but they had some drinks that I could handle. Liz got the food and drinks and we walked back to the stadium were the boys were. Hamlet was acting really good today and I was glad. I was excited to hear all of the things the boys had came up with. The one song they showed me was amazing and I figured it would all be amazing.
"Finally you guys are back!" I heard Luke yell and sprint over to us. I handed him a bag and I honestly had no clue what was in it. He took it anyways. Michael walked over to me and put his arm around my shoulder. He took a sip of what I had got to drink and he took the cup out of my hand and almost chugged the whole thing.
"This is amazing. Oh my god."
"Can I at least drink some of it?"
"Well I guess- SIKE!" He takes the cup and runs across the room. That's okay. I'll just keep this sweatshirt of his. He's not gonna need it back. He hides behind a lamp that is placed in the corner of the room. I walk over to him to steal my drink back but he faces the wall.
"Mikey, pleeeaaasssee can I have it back?" I say pulling a puppy dog face.
"Ugh, only because you are so cute." He hands me it back and boops my nose. I scrunch up my nose and he giggles. I turn around and he grabs my hand. It takes my by surprise so I turn to face him and I lift up our hands.
"What?" I say very confused.
"They looked kinda soft so I wanted to touch them."
"Are you sure about that?" I say raising an eyebrow at him.
"Yes?" He says more as a question. Mike lets go of my hand and walks back over to the rest of the people with me.
"Teegan, these are the 1D boys. Get used to them cause we'll be here for a while." Luke sasses me. I didn't actually meet them when I first saw them. I don't think they even acknowledged my presence. They all had welcoming faces. Lets just hope that it stayed that way.
"I'm Liam. This is Louis, Niall, Zayn, and Harry." I smiled at them and Harry winked at me. I looked down and Michael wrapped his arm around my waist. The stage director started talking to the boys about what he wanted them to do on stage. I didn't listen to him because Harry kept making faces at me. Michael's grip tightened quickly. I looked up at Michael to see his jaw clenched and he was giving Harry a death stare. I giggled slightly when I realized he was jealous. I don't know why though. Mike and I weren't dating and Harry and I are just friends. Ash and Luke walked over to go start setting up their equipment. Cal walked over there too, but Michael stayed right next to me, with a death grip on my waist. I stood in front of him so that my hands were on his chest.
"Mikey, what's wrong?" I asked putting my hand on his cheek. He looked down at me and his expression softened. He smiled slightly, but turned around when Luke called him over. Michael looked back down at me before he left to go practice with the boys. I stood there for a little while before Harry walked up next to me.
"What was that all about?"
"What?" I ask confused.
"Michael. He got really pissed."
"Oh. I have no clue, to be honest." I smiled slightly. It made me happy that Michael got jealous. I wanted him to be jealous. I wanted him to be mine. I wanted to be his. Ugh, ugh, ugh, ugh. I hate boys and their stupid good looks and attractive personalities. Screw you Mother Nature for giving me hormones. I sighed and walked over to the couches they had set out. Hamlet jumped up and sat on my lap. Dogs fix everything. He almost didn't fit on my lap anymore. He was growing so fast. I felt like a mom. Harry came over and sat next to me. He started a little conversation and he told me corny little jokes. They were so stupid that I had to laugh.
"Ooh that's a good one!" I said to him after he told a joke about something I honestly couldn't remember. He told me a couple more before I could feel someone's eyes on us. I looked up and saw Michael staring at us. He was so pissed, that you could practically see smoke coming out of his ears.
"Uh oh. I think you're in trouble." Harry laughs.
"I don't even know why he is so pissed."
"He must like you. And seeing you with me, wouldn't exactly please him."
"Or maybe, he just hates you."
"Either could work." We laugh.
Rehearsals ended and we were now on our way back to the apartment. The first concert was tomorrow and I'm sure we were all excited. Michael wouldn't talk to me and he was ignoring my existence. The silent treatment sucks. Especially when I want attention from him. When we got into the house, Michael grabbed my wrist and dragged me back to my room.
"What the fuck was that?" He spat, pinning me against the door.
"W-what?"
"Don't play stupid, Teegan. You know exactly what I'm talking about."
"Harry? I don't know. He was just being nice."
"Yeah, whatever. I know how guys work."
"Why are you so pissed? You make it look like I just cheated on you or something. Michael, we aren't even dating." He turns around so he can't see me. He folds his arms and takes deep breaths.
"Michael, you don't need to be so protective or jealous or whatever you are right now. I know how to deal with boys. I'm a big girl." He turns around and he looks hurt. His eyes are glossy. I open my mouth to say something, but nothing comes out. I raise my hands and put them on his cheeks. He lays his hands over mine. I can't read his face.
"Teegan, I-I don't want Harry to take you from me. He likes you and I can tell. If you guys date, I don't know what I'll do." He sits down on the bed and sets his head in is hands. I sit on the floor in front of him and move his hands.
"Mike, I don't like him. He is just a friend. He told me Luke gave him my snapchat so that I could make friends. I won't and never will date him. I promise." I took his pinky and squeezed it with mine. He smiled at me and pulled me in for a hug. I let go and laid on the bed. He grabbed my hand and I let him hold it.
"Fuck it. I have to do this." I said as I smashed our lips together.
