Luke woke up first, his phone ringing. The thing was, he couldn't get up. He felt a heavy feeling in his chest and noticed it was Cassie. He furrowed his eyebrows and slowly started sitting up. Cassie just rolled over and laid with her back facing Luke. Must've happened when they were both asleep, Cassie would never do that with thought.

Luke grabbed his phone that wouldn't stop ringing, it was Calum. "Hello?" Luke groaned, then checked the time, it was just nine. "Mate!" Calum laughed. "Yeah? What's up." Luke said, trying not to wake up Cassie, so he walked over to the window to see how mornings in New York City look like.

"So last night, I met this girl." Calum started and Luke already had a grin on his face. "Man she was amazing. When we're in the middle of, you know, this girl comes in and she's the exact replica of the one I was laying on top of." Calum laughed and Luke laughed along. "It was a twin!" Calum yelled happily in to the night.

"Anyways I got their numbers, they were amazing, thought you could use a twin every now and then." Calum laughed, Luke just knew he was smirking at this point. He turned around and stared at the girl that was laying in the bed, fast asleep. "Anyways how's you girlfriend?" Calum grinned at Luke who just groaned.

"I don't know, we're like okay? Holding hands and stuff is becoming natural, yesterday I had to buy her this 2 and a half thousand dollar ring from management, and then we got mobbed and had to go to a restaurant where our waitress was a hormonal 19 year old that gave me her number afterwards? Like to the eye it should look like we're on a date is this girl out to be a home wrecker?" Luke just groaned and Calum listened interested.

"I did see the pictures though, you got some hickeys on your neck friend." He laughed in to the phone and Luke just groaned, closing his eyes for a second. "We just did that for the pictures." Luke said in to the phone, honestly. "I would say that as an excuse." Calum chuckled and Luke explained him that they most definitely did not sleep together.

"Well I'm disappointed in you, Luke, I thought you would've slept with her by now." Calum said, trying to be serious. "It's been three days!" Luke said, a little too loud, Cassie turned around but continued sleeping. "Exactly!" Calum laughed. "I think she's playing hard to get, or she just isn't interested in me." Luke said, not that he would care that much.

"But you're Luke Hemmings?" Calum questioned and Luke laughed. "I know, it'll come eventually." Luke said. "Just like you will." Calum grinned and Luke just groaned at him, he was probably right, but still.

"Well I've got to go, Michael and I are playing FIFA today." Calum said, they exchanged goodbye's and then Luke put his phone back on the nightstand. Maybe he should make a snapchat of Cassie, he then thought.

He grabbed his phone again, shot a picture of the sleeping girl and then added some heart eyed emoji's. He sat back down on the bed, trying to not wake up Cassie. He laid on his back, staring at the ceiling for a while, until he realized he really couldn't sleep anymore.

Luke got up and just grabbed his stuff to head in to the shower so he could get ready before Cassie had to get to the bathroom.

He finished shortly after he started, Luke always took long in the shower usually but he wanted to hurry up so Cassie could get to the bathroom as well. When he was finished drying off his body, he heard Cassie knocking on the door.

"Luke?" She asked him, her voice was very sleepy and Luke thought it sounded adorable. Why would he think that? This fake relationship was messing with his head. "Yeah." He said, but didn't hear anything afterwards.

He wrapped the towel around his hips and unlocked the door and opened it. Cassie was sitting on the bed, the blanket wrapped around her body, she looked so small and fragile, Luke just furrowed his eyebrows and stared at her. "I said yeah?" He tried saying as normal as possible.

"Yeah I know, I just wanted to know if it was you, who was in the shower." She said, staring at her hands. Luke knew something was wrong right now and he just couldn't stop staring at the girl. It almost looked like she had some stained tears on her cheeks.

"Hold on." Luke said, and walked back in to the bathroom, he got dressed quickly in his outfit and then walked out again. Cassie was still sitting at the exact same spot. He sat down next to her, his arm around her waist, trying to comfort her.

"What's going on?" He asked her, she didn't answer for a few seconds, and then she bursted out in tears, crying in to Luke's chest. He had one arm wrapped around her waist and the other one was on her head, Luke just furrowed his eyebrows because he didn't know what was going on with her.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" She said, but her sentence was cut off by a sob. "It's okay." Luke said comforting her and stroking her back in soft motions. "Do you want to tell me what's going on?" Luke then said, softly laying down, Cassie was now wrapped up in to his arms.

They both got a very weird feeling, because they were supposed to hate each other, they were supposed to not be able to sleep in the same bed without uncomfortable feelings. And somehow they ended up, cuddled up together, being okay with each other's company.

Cassie didn't get where his comforting mood came from, he was just so nice to her and he was really making sure she could cry in his chest. And Luke just felt complete pity for her, like she was a sad little girl that lost her favorite stuffed animal. Luke felt bad, and he wanted to make sure the girl was okay.

They were both so confused as to why they were acting this way towards each other.

After ten minutes of comforting whispers and soft sobs, they sat up straight again, opposite of each other with crossed legs. "Want to tell me what was wrong now?" Luke asked and Cassie softly nodded, playing with her hands.

"My ex called me," She started, Luke didn't know there was an ex. If he was the reason she cried in his arms for fifteen minutes, he wanted nothing but to beat him up. No boy should give Cassie this feeling.

"He uh- he and I broke up not too long ago, and we ended it on an open note." She shrugged, finally getting the nerve to look Luke in the eyes. "He called me a whore for 'sleeping with you' and giving you hickeys all over." She said.

Luke already hated this boy. Before she could finish her small story, Luke stared at her. "Okay, listen. You and I both know the real story, some rude boy doesn't matter. He is in the past, let's get ready and make him as jealous as a little asshole can get." He laughed, and Cassie joined him.
