Finally the time had come that Cassie could leave tour. Not for too long, but for a few days. The boys were going to continue with three shows in Canada and Cassie was going to fly home and spend some well needed time with her best friends.

Luke had been dodging her almost completely, except for when Laura needed a picture or when they had to get ice cream a few nights back to get some new paparazzi shots. Cassie was fine with how it was going, she didn't really need more of him right now.

"Luke, Cassie?" Laura walked in to the tour bus while asking for the two. "Yeah?" Cassie looked up from where she was sitting on the couch and Luke walked over to the sitting area. "We need to discuss the upcoming few days." She smiled and sat opposite of them.

"Alright for tonight." Laura started saying. "There will be a taxi in about seven minutes to bring you to the airport." Laura said to Cassie. "Luke, you'll go with her." He nodded, staring at his hands. "When you get there, be sure to kiss goodbye in a place where paparazzi can see it. Luke can you then post a picture afterwards of her walking away with something like 'she's leaving me'. Make sure people understand it's a joke." Laura said, giving him a wink. Some people aren't good in handeling those types of jokes.

"And then when you get back Cassie, you'll have to travel alone to the hotel because the rehearsing schedule is in conflict with when you land. But Luke will pick you up in the lobby of the hotel." Laura finished her say. "Seems about right." Cassie said, smiling at Laura.

"Well, I guess I'll go finish packing then." She smiled and got up and walked over to her bunk to put the last few things in to her suitcase. "Cassie the taxi is here." Luke said, walking over to her. "Coming." She replied.

Cassie grabbed het suitcase and backpack and followed Luke. She quickly said goodbye to the other boys and gave Michael an extra big hug. "Have a safe flight, I'll see you soon." He said while hugging her.

Then the two walked out of the tour bus and over to the taxi. They greeted the driver and after putting all of Cassie's stuff in to the trunk they sat down. "Seattle Tacoma Airport right?" He asked and Luke replied with yes.

After a quiet drive they thanked the driver and Luke helped getting all of Cassie's stuff out of the trunk. There were already a few paparazzi people there, so Luke and Cassie were lucky they could bring a security guard. Luke immediately held Cassie's hand when he got the chance as they walked inside, followed by a few photographers.

Of course they had to wait in line for a little bit, so Luke took this opportunity to do the things Laura asked them to do. He laid his hands on Cassie's waist and kissed her forehead. Cassie realised what he was doing in and laid her head on his chest.

The line got a little shorter so Cassie took a few steps forward. Luke followed but stayed behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist and laid his chin on her shoulder. They stayed like that for a little while as well until it was Cassie's turn to check in her luggage.

"Cassie Thomas." She said while handing the woman her passport. She continued checking in her luggage and then got her ticket from the woman. She thanked her and walked out of the line. "Well what now?" Cassie asked Luke who ha been quiet during the entire thing. "I don't know, get a coffee and then you should go I guess." He answered. Cassie furrowed her eyebrows but then nodded and grabbed his hand.

There were still some people taking pictures so that's why Cassie grabbed his hand. They walked over to a Starbucks that was not too far and sat down in a booth. "So are you excited to go back for a few days?" Luke asked, breaking the silence that was going on a little too long.

"Super excited. Ever since we.." Cassie started saying but she didn't really know how to continue. "We started dating." She eventually said, clenching her jaw a little. "I haven't been in the same place for a long time, so I just want to go home and chill out over there." She spoke, taking a sip of her coffee afterwards.

"I understand, it can be frustrating." Luke answered and also took a sip. They sat in silence for a little longer, just finishing their drinks.

"I just realised." Luke started saying while they were getting up to walk over to the place where Cassie would go one way and Luke the other. "I never actually apologised for being a jerk after the Chula Vista show." Luke said, staring at Cassie who just looked at him, maybe even a little shocked.

"So, I'm sorry." He said. Cassie was quiet for a little and then showed a small smile. "Thank you, it means a lot to me that you say this." She said. "Just so you know, this hug is genuine, not for the camera's." She smiled and gave Luke a long and tight hug. "I realised how much of an asshole I actually was for not saying sorry all this time." Luke said while they still were in the hug.

"And I don't like how we're basically ignoring each other, I want us to be friendly again." He said. After that they broke apart the hug. "Me too, thank you for saying sorry." Cassie said one last time.

"Flight DL 998 to LAX will start boarding in 30 minutes." The intercom sounded. "That is my flight." Cassie smiled, staring at Luke. They had shared a pretty special moment for a change. "Well you better get going, before you miss it and have to join us to Canada anyways." Luke laughed.

"Well, goodbye." She smiled and gave him another hug. "We still have to kiss, right?" Luke then asked her, seeing a few photographers. "Yeah." Cassie replied. Luke let go of the hug slightly but still kept holding Cassie in his arms so he could give her a sweet and tender kiss.

After they broke away, Cassie turned around and started walking away. Luke got his phone and filmed a Snapchat. "Goodbye my lover.. Goodbye my friend.." He sang softly in to his phone. He filmed her walking away and then his hand waving back while she turned around one last time.

And there Cassie went, back to Los Angeles for a few days, straight after the moment she would not have mind staying with Luke a little longer, because he was a friendly guy, deep inside.
