Chapter 3

Hey guys! Sorry for not updating like I said I would. So, this is an extra long chapter just for you guys!

Dev decided to talk to her tomorrow, but followed her home, just in case . As soon as he saw her reach home safely, he left for his home.
All night Dev couldn't sleep, because of his endless tears. Therefore, by all the tears, and no rest or sleep, his eyes had become bloodshot red.  (Is that the same thing?  Idk). 

The next morning at breakfast.

"Di aap thik hai na?", Nikki asked worriedly.
"Haan main bilkul thoon, mujhe kya hua?", Sonakshi answered calmly.
"Woh dik actually maine kal aapke aur bhaiya ke beech ka convo sun liya tha, aur mujhe laga ki jab bhaiya ne aapka phone tod diya, to aap bohot sad honge", Nikki said.
Suddenly Sonakshi realized that nIkki had heard everything and that now she knew abt her and Dev's relationship. Sonakshi dragged her towards her room and as soon they were inside, she bolted the door.
"Nikki tu kisi ko kuch nahi batayegi", she said sternly.
"Haan di mujhe pata hai mein kisi ko kuch bhi nahin bataungi, but aap thik hain right? I mean bhaiya ne aapko woh phone bohot mushkil ko aapko diya tha, aur bhaiya ne usi phone ko phir tod diya. Ab aap bhaiya se breakup nahin karenge na? App ane ke baad woh kitna hasnr lage hain, gaana gane lage hain, enjoy karna seekh gaye hain, aur aur zyada smile bhi karne lage hain. Agar aap chali gayi to woh phir se vahi Mr. Khaddos waale insaan ban jayenge. Aap please mat jaiye unhein chodke ," Nikki asked sadly.
"Nikki", Sonakshi said sweetly and made her sit on the bed, along with her. "Mujhe pata hai ki Mr.Dixit kitne ziddi aur gussewale hain, aur mujhe pata hai ki woh guesse mein aake kya kuch nahin karte. In sab flaws ke baad bhi, mein kya karoon, mujhe to unse pyar ho gaya. Unhone mujhe propose bhi kiya. Ab jab mein unki girlfriend hoon, toh mujhe unhein samjhna hi padega right? Aur relationships mein aisi fights hoti rehti hain. Ab iska matlab yeh nahin ki mein unhein chod ke chali jaaon. I love him Nikki, aur mujhe unse koi door nahin kar sakta.", Sonakshi replied calmy.
"Aww di thank u so much", and with that, Nikki gave her a tight hug.
"Par di what about the phone", she asked?
"Nikki mujhe na pehle se hi kuch lagraha tha ki mera phone aaj toot ne wala hai. To main aaj baaba ka phone laaya, kyunki woh ek nayi phone kharidna chahte hain aur mene meri phone ghar pe chod ke aayi hoon. Aur mujhe lagta hai ki Mr. Dixit ne mere hi phone pe msg. ya phone kiye the", Sonakshi replied.
"Wow di instincts", Nikki said with a big smile plastered to her face.
Nikki and Sona continue with their talks.

Meanwhile, on the other end of the door, Iswari Dixit was listening to all of this. She had come to Nikki's room to giver her her phone, when she over heard Sonakshi's confession to Nikki about Dev. Ishwari was shocked. Sure she knew Dev would fall in love someday but with Sonakshi? And Dev hadn't even told her about the relationship. Iswari decided to talk to Sonakshi about this.
Iswari went back to her room and called Kich Bahiya and told him to call Nutrition Didi. When Sonakshi came Ishwari gestured her to sit.
"Aunty ji aapne bulaya", Sonakshi asked.
"Haan, mujhe tumse kuch baat karni thi", she said.
"Ji boliye".
"Nutrition, mera matlab, Sonakshi, tumhare parivar ko mera beta Dev kaisa lagta hai?", Ishwari asked.
Sonakshi was taken aback by the question.
"Dev? I mean Mr. Dixit?", she asked. Ishwari nodded. "Ache lagte hain, auntyji , par kyun,?" She asked .
"Sonakshi, kya tum Dev se shaadi karne ke liye tayar ho?" Iswari directly asked.
Sonakshi was shocked. "S-s--shadi? Aun-ty ji-- a-ap chahte hain ki m-mein M-Mr. Dixit se shaadi karoon?", Sonakshi asked.
"Haan nutrition. Mujhe thoda shak to tha, par aaj to confirm ho gaya", she said with a smirk on her face.
Sonakshi groaned. "Auntyji yea har bar mujhse hi kyun hota hai? Pehle mein Mr. Dixit se baat kar rahi thi aur Nikki ne sun-liya, aur jab mein Nikki se baat kar rahi thi to aapne sunliya. Ab jab mein aapse baat kar rahi hoon ab kya Ria sun lagi?" She said, frustrated.
"Ji haan Sona di, aap to bilkul correct guess kiya!", Ria said from the door.
Sonakshi groaned again. Then Ishwari wanted to know what happened between her and Dev. Sonakshi told Ishwari and Ria everything. By the time she was done, Nikki had come and all 4 made a plan to make Dev make never fight again with Sonakshi and Ishwari, Ria, and Nikki also agreed since Dev hadn't told anything about his relationship to them.

When Dev came down all of them were busy in their work. Since everyone was busy, Dev thought about going to meet Sonakshi in the kitchen and apologizing. As he was about to talk to her, Sonakshi turned her back and called out for Kichu Bhaiya.
"Sonakshi, I'm sorry, woh maine kal jaan booch ke n-", Dev was interupted by Nikki.
"Sona di aapke boyfriend kitne hot hain! Aap kab shaadi karne wale ho?", she asked, her eyes glued to her phone screen.
"Thx Nikki, aur hamari shaadi 2 weeks baad hai", Sonakshi said with a satisfied smile. "Aana zaroor!", Sonakshi called out after Nikki had left from the kitchen.
"Ji Mr. Dixit aap kuch bol rahe the? Thoda jaldi kar sakte hain mein aaj thodi busy hoon", she said, acting as if nothing had been done.
"Sonakshi aap shaadi kaisi kar sakti hain!? Aur aapka naya boyfriend kahan se aa gaya? Mein aap-", Dev was interupted again, this time by Ishwari.
"Dev tu aaj chuti le le aur mere aur Sonakshi ke saath bahar chal", she said.
"Par kahan?" Dev asked confused.
"Arrey, Sonakshi ki shaadi ho rahi hai, uske liye taiyari karni chahiye na? Aaj tu hum dono ko shopping le chale ga aur mein kuch nahin sunoongi," Iswari replied, stern and left from the kitchen, as GKB had called her.
"Sonakshi! Mein tumhara boyfriend hoon aap aur kisi se shaadi kaise kar sakte hain?", Dev asked, close to tears now.
"Mr. Dixit, hoon nahin aap mere boyfriend the. Mene iske baare mein bohot sochi hai aur mujhe lagta hai ki it's for the best," Sonakshi replied and left from the kitchen before Dev could say anything else.
