Part 11

The night ended beautifully for the young ambitious couple who had achieved all they wanted; their love had been blossomed and blessed. They lay in each other's arms safe and wrapped around each other from the outside world. The warmth between their bodies symbolised their love and their feelings. It was beautiful. There wasn't any need for anything for anyone because they were together in each other's arms and that was everything for them. Sonakshi shook Dev as she needed to move slightly. Dev didn't respond. She shook him again and he spoke "Sonakshi why don't you ever let me sleep, always wanting me to wake up you're a horrible wife always annoying your husband" Dev kept his eyes closed and he had a little smirk on his face. Sonakshi escaped from his arms and she punched him in the stomach "Mr. Obodro! I do so much for you and you just want to sleep, you never ever say anything nice to me it's all about you meh meh meh meh meh" Sonakshi moaned at Dev and sulked. Dev secretly opened an eye and laughed at Sonakshi to himself.  Sonakshi crossed her arms and sat up in the bed. Dev somewhat found joy in annoying Sonakshi and seeing the other side to her innocent pure personality. He loved his Khargosh more than anything and he knows that she is the best thing that has ever happened in his life. He wondered whether to pacify his wife or just leave her because he knows that she will come running back. When he argued or joked with Sonakshi there was something that always pulled him back to her. To her innocence and her purity he didn't like doing anything wrong with her as he knew that she would take it seriously. He would look into those big eyes and after the anger there was only love for him. This made him melt down. But this time he was determined to joke around with as what happened last night has made him go all crazy. He smiled as she didn't move from her position and he walked out of the bed and went straight to the washroom. Sonakshi was shocked as Dev didn't even look at her once. This made her fume with anger and she sat on the bed with a straight face. She thought to herself this time I am not going to say sorry, I'll make him say sorry and in such a way that he forgets to ever be angry with me. Sonakshi smiled to herself and at her plan. Dev had finished in the shower after 20 minutes but he decided that he wasn't going to go outside. This may force Sonakshi to knock on the door. He giggled at his plan. But not realising this time that there is no hope because his khargosh is trying the same trap. She quickly hid his clothes so he couldn't find them. She thought that she had done well for her first step. As Dev walked out of the shower he realised he hasn't got any clothes. He swore "Shit!" he thought what to do. He was about to shout Sonakshi but he stopped just in time. He quickly wrapped a towel around his waist and had a wet chest, dripping water flowing from his hair onto his face. He thought to himself this will definitely make Sonakshi go crazy over me. He slowly unlocked the door and walked out into the room. This caught Sonakshi's attention and she smiled looking downwards. She made herself look like she was busy and was working. Dev didn't even look at her and walked straight past. This shocked her but she preoccupied herself. Dev searched the cupboards for his clothes but there was nothing there. He slammed the cupboard in anger hoping to get Sonakshi's attention to come and help him. He sneaked a look at her but she continued to read a magazine that was left on the table. He knew that she wasn't at all interested in the magazine as she was reading it upside down. Dev laughed at her but remained quiet. He searched the other cupboards and with great difficulty holding his towel tightly he got his clothes. He stormed into the bathroom. Nearly losing the towel. Sonakshi stood up and quickly sat back on the bed. She pulled a face at her plan failing and she didn't like it. As soon as Dev got dressed and came out he opened the doors and went and stood on the balcony. Sonakshi glared at him and went into the bathroom remembering her clothes and making sure she had everything with her. Dev watched over and looked at the beach lovingly. He thought about being angry with Sonakshi but he felt a pleasure in teasing her and winding her up it was just a way he felt he loved Sonakshi when she was angry. It made her more beautiful. He saw a few people he could encounter into his little plan. He snuck out of the hut and went up to a few people and asked them they agreed to help him. Sonakshi walked out of the room wearing her western avatar and wearing a short yellow dress. Dev's jaw dropped as he looked through the creek of the window. He couldn't help but stare at her magically. Sonakshi smiled to herself because she could see him through the corner of her eye. She wore this dress to make Dev weak so he would say sorry. But she didn't know that her Mr. Obodro wasn't any less stubborn than her, in fact even more. Dev peeked through a couple more times as he couldn't resist her beauty. This time Sonakshi looked up and he caught Dev he quickly turned back so he wouldn't be able to see her. She smiled at Dev and realised her little plan was working. They both were angry with each other but really this wasn't what they wanted. They were doing all this to make them closer to make them love each other more and to embrace each other even more. They both thought about each other and being close. Sonakshi smiled picturing Dev's laughing face. Dev smiled and imagined Sonakshi and her innocence her smile that made him go fida. He looked at his watch and realised that it was time to go otherwise they wouldn't be able to do much. He opened the doors and he tried not to look at Sonakshi and he spoke angrily "I'm going out because it's time to go out if you want you can come?" Dev turned around not looking at Sonakshi and stood at the door looking at his watch to signal to her that we have to leave. She quickly picked up her purse and walked near Dev he stepped away from her a bit to see her reaction. She was shocked at Dev as he had no reaction and he started walking ahead shaking his head at her. As they walked down the beach Dev pulled out his sunglasses and set his hair looking through his mobile phone. He smiled to himself and Sonakshi looked at him whilst he was wearing his glasses. Dev looked around and he saw the girls that he had asked to be a part of the plan. He lowered his glasses and looked them up and down. He winked at one of them and she giggled. This caught Sonakshi's attention and her jaw dropped the girls walked towards Dev and they were looking at him because they fancied him. They held Dev's arms and started talking to him. Dev laughed and he hugged both of them. He looked towards Sonakshi who was outraged. Sonakshi clinched her fists. She remembered all of the moments spent with Dev. Those loving moments, she looked at Dev and got angry. She walked up to Dev and the girls and nudged both of the girls away from Dev and told them "What do you think you're doing? Get away from my husband, don't you have any shame" She held Dev's arm tightly and gave them an evil look. She held Dev tightly by the waist and they slowly walked off laughing. The BG tune played and Sonakshi hugged Dev tightly. "I'm sorry Dev, I love you" She buried her head in his chest and tears fell out of her eyes. Dev embraced her fully and felt peace in his mind and his heart. He hugged her tightly and he pulled her off his chest and cupped her face into his arms. They shared an eyelock and expressed everything through their eyes. Dev held her face and kissed her tears gently. "I'm sorry Sonakshi, I'm really sorry for hurting you, I love you so much!" Dev pulled her back and gave her a passionate hug she grabbed his back softly and smiled happily. They hugged for a couple of minutes and then they realised that people were watching them and giving them strange looks. Sonakshi pulled away from Dev and he gave her a naughty smile. She blushed and dragged Dev ahead. He was dragged by Sonakshi all the way to the stalls. But sneakily Dev pulled her back "My lovely wife, if you love me so much then why walk so far in front of me?"  Dev pulled Sonakshi back forcefully and she landed in front of Dev and he wrapped his hands round her waist. Her hair brushed his face softly and he placed his head on her shoulder. "Dev you're looking very handsome in those shades today. I was shocked at you and how you lowered your shades with such style; you never did that for me, did you?" Sonakshi pulled a doggy face and Dev kissed her on the cheek "Khargosh, I don't do that ever it was just today... anyway I had my own style for you Mrs. Dixit" He touched his collars and brushed his hand through his hair and showed his attitude to Sonakshi. She laughed endlessly. He pulled a face and he tried to catch Sonakshi. She sped ahead around the beach and he followed her and he ran endlessly to try and catch her. She was really quick on her feet and at every turn Dev missed his catch. "Sonakshi...Sonakshi!" She giggled as she kept running away from him. People were watching them and smiled at them and their naughtiness. Sonakshi lost her balance and fell back on the sand here Dev slipped as well and fell on Sonakshi. Dev was on top of Sonakshi and the sand gently blew on them. The sand blew in Dev and Sonakshi's eyes and they both closed their eyes. Dev gently rubbed Sonakshi's eye and blew from it. Sonakshi kissed his hand and she rubbed his eye and smiled. He went in for a kiss on her neck and she rolled over and was on top of him. She blushed and tried to stand up as she was getting embarrassed. Dev grabbed her hand and told her not to go. She didn't listen and she let go of his hand. He didn't stand up and gave her a naughty smile. She held her arm out and said "Here let's go, I'll help you up!" Dev shook his head and refused to stand up. Sonakshi shook her head and walked ahead. "Sonakshi please help me up I'm sorry baby!" She walked ahead and laughed at him. He immediately stood up and chased after her and hugged her from behind. "Eh, Naughty girl why did you leave me like that?" Dev hugged her from behind tightly. Sonakshi elbowed Dev's stomach and walked ahead "I don't care I would have found another hot boyfriend or even husband on the beach, because I'm a beautiful girl" Sonakshi smirked to herself and walked ahead. Dev stood there and took a different direction and Sonakshi didn't realise. He had run away but was hiding. Sonakshi looked around to see if Dev was behind her and he had disappeared. "Dev...Dev where are you?" Sonakshi was tense as she had lost Dev.  She looked around and walked back to see if she could find Dev. Dev crept behind her and picked her up she jumped in fear as she thought she had been kidnapped. "Leave me!" Sonakshi was kicking her way out of these arms that had embraced her from behind she closed her eyes tightly and still not knowing it was Dev. She opened them and looked behind to see it was him. She paused for a few minutes as she was so scared. "Dev what do you think you're doing? What's wrong with you? I thought I'd lost you!" She became tense and Dev just looked at her. He started laughing and spoke "Why would you be worried about me anyway? You would have found a hot boyfriend or husband here anyway?" Dev looked away looking sad. He put her down and said "Go, now you can find a new partner I'm sure he's better than me!" Dev crossed his arms and looked away. Sonakshi smiled at him and ran to him. She hugged him tightly and said "Dev I was joking, there is no one better than my husband in this whole entire world trust me!" She embraced his back tightly and he smiled a little. She backed off but Dev pulled her back close to him "Where are you going Mrs. Dixit? I thought I was the best!" Dev smirked at her looking intently in her eyes. She shook her head and laid her head on his chest like a baby. "Dev is this what you want to do all day!" she joked at him making sure she didn't take the matter too far she hugged him and she smelt the scent of perfume on his body that made him smell beautiful. They walked down the rest of the beach hand in hand and went into their car that was going to take them to do some more leisure activities. DevAkshi sat in the car relaxed and Sonakshi put on her shades as well due to the sun being too warm to handle. The AC was on in the car and a chill ran down Sonakshi's leg she snuggled up to Dev and he smiled down at her "What's wrong Sonakshi?"  He understood that the AC was too cold and he turned it down a notch. They were going to do something completely different today that couldn't be done in India "Sonakshi can you swim?" Dev asked politely. She looked confused at Dev's question "Yes I can swim baba taught us 2 when we were younger!" Sonakshi smiled back a little not asking any questions. "That's good them because we are going scuba diving we are going to go to Troux aux Biches it is a beautiful place you will love it!" Dev was very excited over this idea and he held Sonakshi tightly in excitement. She smiled at him as she was too amazed at Dev's idea. She hugged him and said "Dev what if I can't handle wearing all that equipment? I can swim fine but what if it all goes wrong!" Sonakshi became tense at the idea now and started to worry. Dev held her around his arm and said "Sonakshi, I'm with you always don't worry I won't leave you for a second!" Dev kissed her forehead and they gave each other a reassuring eye lock.  The driver turned into the resort where they were going to dive and they both were ecstatic. They drove in the car park and the driver was going to sit in the car as they enjoyed their day out. Sonakshi and Dev walked into the centre and they got their kit ready with their costumes. Then came along an instructor he smiled and welcomed them both to the resort. He taught them how to wear the equipment and they went in the changing rooms to get changed. After 10 minutes they both walked out they had all their breathing apparatus on and they both looked at each other and laughed at how funny they looked. They looked like odd people and Sonakshi struggled to walk in it as there was heavy equipment on them. Dev held Sonakshi's arm and they walked back to the instructor he inspected them to make sure their apparatus was on perfectly otherwise there could be a problem. "That's perfect, we are going to go on the reef and I will demonstrate to you how it is all done as I believe it is your first time as scuba divers? I have to go through Health and Safety and then I will go in the water with you!" the instructor spoke and Dev and Sonakshi nodded politely noting in their mind what has to be done. They walked out and there were beautiful bushes and gardens surrounded around the reef. Dev cuddled close to Sonakshi and mesmerised the views. The instructor smiled at the lovely couple. He led them to the reef and it was right near the Indian Ocean. The sea was a strong blue and it flooded the land beautifully. The sun was beaming over the ocean with a shadow that neared Dev and Sonakshi's feet. The instructor told them everything about the health and safety of diving. Sonakshi was listening intently at the instructor's words and Dev just stared and smiled at Sonakshi. She didn't realise him staring at her but the instructor did "Excuse me sir you need to be listening like madam is this is very important you can look at your wife after wards!" he shouted at Dev and this made Dev go all shy and he looked down with a smirk on his face. It reminded both of them of their days when Nikki and Ria said that to him. He stopped and then he went near the sea and dived in showing them step by step what to do. He was deep under the water and you could see him go down about 30m as this was the limit. Dev caught his eyes and Sonakshi and snuck his hand into hers. Sonakshi shook her head telling him to watch and he disagreed and continued to annoy Sonakshi sweetly. The instructor came back up and said "Did you see that? Now it is your turn!" Dev looked at Sonakshi and they held hands and walked to the sea with the instructor "Remember what I did!" Sonakshi knew exactly what to do but Dev didn't. He followed Sonakshi and they dived into the water. Their hands separated and they were underwater the instructor was near them but was distancing himself slightly. Dev and Sonakshi were enjoying themselves as they swam slightly ahead and they saw beautiful sea life. Fishes were running around their little homes and swaying through seaweed and other sea plants. Sonakshi and Dev held hands under the water and swam together. They both were like a couple of mermaids underwater. They shared cute eye locks and the music Woh lamhe hazaar se played in the BG as they felt free and just perfect doing something that they would have never dreamed of doing together. They scuba dived for a few hours and they carried on back to bay. They slowly came back to land and they were exhausted. They sat down on the floor slightly uncomfortable and had big smiles on their faces. "It was amazing!" Sonakshi was ecstatic but her voice sounded tired. Dev reached over for Sonakshi and held her in his arms. They stood up and went into the changing rooms. They went into separate showers and Dev was sad that he couldn't go in with Sonakshi with a heavy heart he moved into the other changing room. They showered and came out changed. Dev waited in the reception area for Sonakshi he looked at the clock endlessly and was waiting for her intently.  She came out of the door in her original clothes and her hair swaying everywhere due to the breeze. Dev just stared at her as she was back to her normal self. Not wearing all that equipment. They paid for all of the scuba diving lessons and then walked out of the doors. Dev hugged Sonakshi tightly and walked down the long path. It was getting dark and the driver was nowhere to be seen. They couldn't find him in the car park and Sonakshi was getting tense. "Dev where is he? It's really dark, how are we going to get back to the hotel?" Sonakshi tugged onto Dev's arm and started to look around.
"Sonakshi don't worry, just chill we will get back to the hotel no matter what?!" Dev reassured Sonakshi and Dev pulled out his cell phone and rang the driver. There was no answer. Dev tried three times but there was no answer. He swore at the phone and Sonakshi became more anxious. "Sonakshi let's walk out I'm sure we will find something or somewhere on the way. Dev started walking but Sonakshi stood where she was. She shook her head in fear. "Sonakshi I'm here I won't let anything happen to you!" Sonakshi walked ahead with Dev but looking around every second being aware of danger around. "Dev this is a country in Africa anything can happen at any time there are animals everywhere what if..." Sonakshi gulped and tugged onto Dev harder. They walked down the forestry area to find...
