They Saved Her!

Chapter 21- Charlie

Amber's P.O.V.-

Amber walked out of the bathroom in jeans and a t-shirt. She had just taken her shower. She automatically started walking to Ethan's room. I say automatically because she was still thinking about that kiss she had shared with Ethan. It was her first real kiss. If she knew kissing felt that good and made her whole body tingle, her stomach do flips and her legs feel like jelly she would have tried it a long time ago.

But then she stopped right out side Ethan's door way. No she probably wouldn't have tried it. There was no other guy that she trusted like she trusted Ethan. No other guy would have been able to get that close to her without her freaking out.

She looked from the floor to see Ethan sitting on the side of his bed with his head in his hands. She wanted to go to him and offer some form of comfort, but for some reason she knew she shouldn't touch him right now. She didn't know what would happen, but she knew that something would. So instead she called his name softly.

His head snapped up and she almost stepped back at the look in his eyes. He wasn't angry she could tell that. She knew what he looked like when he was angry and this wasn't it. But she didn't know what that look was and for some reason she was a little bit afraid of it. Which made now since to her. She wasn't afraid of him anymore when he was angry so why would she be afraid of that look.

She was smart enough however, to know that if she did take that step back away from him right now that she so badly wanted to, he would start closing her out. So instead she took a step towards him, saying, “I came to let you know you can take your shower and get my boots and jacket.” He tilted his head towards the floor to show her where her boots where.

Before saying, “You don't need your jacket.” Amber felt herself blush. She had been wanting to ride his bike with him, but I guess he had other ideas.

Ethan gave her a thoughtful look before saying, “Unless you want to ride with me.” She knew her cheeks got redder at that, but she couldn't answer him. She watched a slow smile spread across his face. “If you do, your jackets over there.” He pointed at a chair in the corner of his room. Amber looked at the chair, before hurrying to grab her boots off the floor. As she stood up Ethan grabbed her wrist and spun her around. He was now standing only inches away from her.

With his free hand he cupped her cheek, saying softly in his velvety voice, “I would like you too.” He rubbed her cheek with his thumb for a moment before releasing her to grab his clean clothes off the bed and heading for the shower.

Amber drew in a deep breath before turning in sinking down on the side of his bed. What was he doing to her? She had never felt like this before. She didn't know, and she didn't know if she could ask the others. She didn't want them laughing at her. She really didn't think they would, but she also knew she wasn't comfortable asking either.

She slipped on her boots, grabbed her jacket, checked the inside pocket for her phone. Once she found it, she looked to see it wasn't charged. She walked back to her room to plug it in. She wasn't going to need it. She was going to be with Ethan. If she need a phone she could use his. Slipping her jacket on, she grabbed her helmet and walked out to the living-room to wait for the others.

She found Nick, alone sitting on the couch. That's when she realized she could ask him what was going on with her. She could ask him because she knew he wouldn't laugh at her and he would tell her the truth, but she didn't want to ask him with the others around.

Sitting down on the couch beside him, he looked at her with a raised eyebrow. She knew he was wondering why she sat there. She never sat on the couch unless she was playing the Playstation with Micca. She asked him quietly, “Can we go to the coffee shop in the morning before I go shopping with Lucca?”
