Epilogue- She Saved Them

Amber leaned against doorway to the living-room with a soft smile on her face. Today her world had finally felt complete. Her girls where sitting on the floor playing with their dolls on the big area rug Lucca had insisted they were going to need for this exact reason. Her twin boys were laying in their play pins taking a nap by the floor to ceiling windows being watched over by their Grandpa, Evan.

Jenni was sitting on one of the couches holding her son, Robert, while Micca sat beside them with his arm wrapped around Jenni and making goofy faces at their son.

Gage and Laci watched them with amused smiles on their faces.

Nick, Lucca, Jesse, and baby Rose was sitting on the couch opposite of Micca and Jenni.

“Hey,” Amber looked up to see her husband standing beside her. She leaned into him.

“Hey yourself.” Ethan wrapped his arm around his wife and took in the picture of his family. He rubbed his hand of his heart. He was happier now then he had ever been, but he still felt the longing for the two people that wasn't their with them. He wished his Grand father had lived long enough to see that they had made the home he always wished they would. He glanced down to his wife, and it was all because of her.

If she hadn't been desperate for a place to live all those years ago, none of this would have happened. He would still be the angry man he used to be working at the motorcycle shop as a sham, Nick and Lucca would never have gotten together let alone brought Jesse and baby Rose into their lives, Micca and Jenni would never had meet and had George. Evan would still be a lonely man running his business in the ground instead of expanding it to the ten shops he now has. Gage and Laci would still be trying to control Jenni's life or he should say trying to protect her from the world. Jenni would have gone mad.

None of the children in this room would have ever been conceived but the biggest tragedy of it all is none of them would have known how special Amber was.

Micca had meet her first and he had known instantly that she was special. Ethan could never thank him enough for that insist. Deep down he had known she was special before ever meeting her. She had scared him because he had known she was going to change their lives. At the time he had thought it was going to be for the worse.

He hadn't known what happiness and living a real life was possible for any of them. They had all been living a day to day existence they had fallen into. Their was no real joy or anything close to happiness for any of them before she had walked into their lives and changed all of them.

At first she had drawn the need of protection out of them but slowly that had changed to more. They all still wanted to protect her, but now after so many years it was so much more. Micca and Lucca saw her as the baby sister they hadn't grown up with but wanted all the same. Nick saw her as his best-friend and she was. She was closer to Nick then she was with the rest of them, well except him. After all she was his wife. The love of his life. The mother to his children and the women who saved him.

Micca watched Ethan and Amber standing in the doorway. Amber was cuddle up to Ethan's chest with a soft smile on her face and Ethan was looking down at her with all of his love in his eye he held for his precious wife.

Micca smiled and concentrated on Amber. That tiny package of a women had changed all of their lives. He will never be more glad about anything then the day he answered the phone and decided to give the quiet voice on the other end of the line a chance to convince him that she would fit in with their lives.
