Ash's P.O.V
"BEEP! BEEP! BEEEP!" Was how I woke up every morning. I hated this old alarm clock, I need to get a radio clock to wake up to some music.
I got up and went to my bathroom for my morning shower, tooth brush, and of course my morning... "Activities". After I was finished in the bathroom I sniffed the air, and boy did it smell delicious!"PANCAKES!!!" I screamed as I ran down the stairs, man did I love pancakes! Just about the only thing I loved more than food was my mom, but it's close. I was just past the halfway point down I lost my footing and began tumbling down the stairs.
"WAAAAHHHHH" I let out a scream as I fell, and eventually coming crashing into the ground beneath the stairs.
"Oh my goodness! Ash are you ok?!?" My mom came running over to me faster than I think I've ever seen her move before.
"Yea mom, I'm ok." I grunted out while holding the lump on the back of my head.
"Okay then ash, there are pancakes on the table for you, I need to be off to work now. I hope you have the best day at your new school!" My mother said as she exited our new house.
I ran to the table and started scarfing down my pancakes, and they were gone in a matter of seconds. I looked over to see my old buddy diesel whimpering in the corner while looking at his empty bowl. I dumped some of the new food my mom left for him in the bowl and left some water. He just stared at it, probably because it's a new brand. He's getting to old to chew the hard food, so this kind is moist.
"Please just try it, I need to get to school! Can you imagine being late on the first day buddy?
Diesel reluctantly took a couple pieces and tasted it.After a few small bites, he was scarfing it down. I hope I can adjust to this new school as quick as he adjusted to this new food. I doubt it though.
"I have a great feeling about today buddy" I told diesel as I patted him on the head and went out the door.
