Serena's Pov
After a nice night with Delia and Ash, it was time for me to leave. It was really nice to hold a conversation with Ash's mom. I said goodbye to Ash and he headed up the stairs to sleep. I grabbed my bag and started out the door.
"Serena, wait." Delia called over to me
"Yes Mrs. Ketchum?" I smiled
"I know you put Ash up to all of that. He's such a sweet boy. This is hard for me, but I wanted to say I'm sorry. I can see how hard your trying, and I'm truly sorry. I've been so rude to you since the beginning because of my own experiences. I should've figured Ash was smarter than me.
"I- I- I don't know what to say" I was fighting back tears of joy.
"That's ok. Just please promise you won't do anything stupid." I couldn't hold it any longer and I started crying of happiness.
"Oh come here you." Delia hugged me.
"You should get home sweetie." Delia pushed me out the door.
"Thank you so much Mrs. Ketchum!" I cried to her.
"My name is Delia. Goodnight Serena." And she closed the door.
