Serena's Pov
Ash got out of the hospital a few days ago. It's been almost a week actually, but Calem still isn't out. I think he deserves it, but can't help but feel bad.
I haven't had much time to think about it though, because me and Ash have been doing so much. The day he got out we went ice skating at the Wulfic ring, and the day after we hung out at my house all day. Playing in the snow, watching movies, and we even made a gingerbread house!
Seeing Ash get along so well with my mom is really nice, but I can't help but be jealous. Ash's mom hates me, and probably always will. That won't stop me from trying though.
Today is the first day I've had to myself, because Ash's mom is forcing him to spend all of New Year's Eve with him, up until the ball drop, which he'll be at my house for.
It's almost time for the ball drop, around 11:30. My mom is making food for when Ash comes over, because she knows he eats like a pig. I don't know how he does it! Eating like that but staying so fit... And toned... Muscular even... ANYWAY...
After a few moments ash showed up to my door, sweating.
"AM I LATE???" Ash frantically ran in
"Ash, I can't believe this!" I teased.
"SERENA IM SO SORRY! MY MOM - " I cut him off with laughter.
"Im not late am I..." Sh looked down on defeat.
"Right on time!" My mom yells from the kitchen.
We take a seat on the couch and watch the "best moments" of the year.
"Why aren't we up there?" Ash asks jokingly.
"Seriously! Your the best thing that's happened to me."
"Smooth! My mom says as she places the food on the table.
We all eat and laugh over our favorite times of the year. Before we know it were at the sixty second count-down. We all stared in awe and started counting down from ten with the tv.
"Ten! Nine! Eight! Seven! Six! Five! Four! Three! Two! One! Happy new year!" We yelled.
Ash grabs me into a kiss when we are done. We started this year together, and well end it together.
