Chapter Fifty Four - The Poster

Ash's POV

     I heard a knock on my door and ran downstairs, because today was the day me and Cilian were going to come up with a plan to ask Bianca.

I flung the door open and yelled "are you ready to get a date?!?" Excitedly.

"Come on, let's just get to work." The tall nerd said as he walked in the door.

      We ran up the stairs to my room and got all of the stuff we needed to make the poster.

"So, you always have to make something really corny and funny, nothing that shows your actual emotions." I told Cilian.

"But isn't the point to convey my feelings for her?" He asked.

"No no no silly! First you have to be in the "talking" phase. Going to this dance shows that they are interested in talking, which lets you take it to the next step." I knew this was going to be awhile.

"But I talk to her every day already, she's really nice to me to." Cilian is not understanding this whole "talking" thing.

"That's not what I mean! Like when you go home and text them flirtatious stuff, thats talking. Also, you want to keep some pausable deniability, so if she says no you can blame it on me or say you just wanted to go as friends."

"First of all, it's PLAUSABLE deniability, not pausable. Second, I don't want to hear anymore about all this modern day dating lingo yet. Let's make a damn poster already!"

     After hours of work and countless restarts, we finally had a poster we agreed on. They both loved Harry Potter, so we did a poster with the sorting hat!

It read "you belong... at the dance with Cilian!" With a funny drawing of her wearing the hat. I really hope this works for Cilian, he needs a girl in his life to balance him out.

"Thanks ash, I think I'll be going now. I'll text you in the morning to meet up for this!"

"Alrighty, have a goodnight cilian!" I ushered him out the door.

     Either way this poster went, tommorow was going to be a big day for Cilian, Arceus, this needs to work.

Sorry for not posting in so long! I kinda lost motivation for awhile after seeing all the new sun and moon anime stuff, it just is really annoying me. However, I saw that another one of my favorite authors @amourshipper1 put a wildly successful book on hold, I remembered why I started this series in the first place! So, I'm going to be back and better than ever.

Also, in going to continue working on my second project which currently only has two chapters out, so expect an update for that tommorow and maybe a few for this book as well.
