Falling out of love is like destroying a ship,
Burning it down, or letting it sink,
Trying to turn your mind to something else,
When your heart is aching for nobody else.
You make a goal, then you watch it shatter,
He is the one that you want; nothing else matter,
You know you got to get out of that mess,
You know your heart can take way less,
Still you feel broke,
He took something from you, and now you're the joke.
Falling out of love is like fixing a puzzle,
Missing some pieces, but still you got to try,
Somehow you will make it,
You just got to fake it.
But it is so hard,
When you really are in love.
You will ache,
You will suffer,
And it will hurt,
'Cause he didn't want you,
He didn't need you,
But that doesn't mean you're not worth it.
Just leave,
And don't look back,
And if you do look back,
He won't.
