You got to think a hundred times more,
I can see it when you deepen it,
It's like you're trying to say goodbye,
You start to forget what you've already said,
And somehow I let you try.
Then I tell you what I know,
You start defending, I guess so,
"I don't lie."
"Yes, you do!"
But you really don't have to,
I don't care if you're not perfect,
I don't care if you're somehow lost,
But if you lie to me about any of it,
You better just ... go.
'Cause I deserve better.
I know that now.
