The College Life-Haley & Leo

***HALEY'S P.O.V.***
Beep. Beep. Beep. My alarm clock goes off and we both immediately roll out of bed, it's our last week of classes and we plan on being on time if it kills us. I quickly run to the shower first so that he has to make breakfast, Leo groans but reluctantly heads towards the kitchen. I soon hear the barking of our puppy Bronco coming form the living room and laugh that dog hate Leo but love me to death, it's hysterical. I sigh and begin my shower and start thinking about what I'm going to wear. It takes me about 20 minutes to decided on an outfit so I get out of the shower then and walk to the closet, I don't worry about Leo walking in because he took Bronco for a walk what the cinnamon rolls backed so they won't be back for another 15 or so minutes.

I get dressed and hear the ding of the oven timer saying that our food was done and shot Leo a quick text telling him to come home and eat. I pulled the delicious breakfast meal out of the oven and start putting icing on them, then I make some tea for myself and sit down to eat breakfast. Soon enough Leo and Bronco come walking through the door of our apartment, Bronco with a huge smile on his face, and Leo with a look of frustration and annoyance. I couldn't help but laugh at them because it was funny, Bronco and Leo were unaware of their clear disliking to one another. Leo gave me a look and I quieted my laughing, it was to early in the morning to get on anyone's bad side.

Bronco walked over to the food I put in his bowl after the left and Leo grabbed a plate and some tea and sat across from me at the table with his laptop in hand. I shook my head at him, he's been putting off doing this assignment for American History and Politics class and it's due today and he has it nowhere near done. "What?" He questioned as I watched him type furiously on the keyboard.

"Nothing, just if you would've listened to me you wouldn't be worried about this paper right now is all." I could tell by the way my face felt and the way his face reacted to my words that my tone was condescending but I was telling the truth. He shook his head and waved me off I knew that he knew I was right that's why he didn't give me a verbal answer.

I stood up form the table and began walking towards the door, we needed to go grocery shopping and it was my turn so I headed out the door. "Don't hurt my dog." I called out to Leo before I let the house. Every car in the lot was expensive some more than others, I somehow found people who have my same financial situation. I walked over to my Porsche and unlocked the doors. I sat in my seat and tried starting my car, nothing. I tried again, same result I didn't know what else to do so I walked over to Leo's black Ranger Rover and tried it. Both our batteries are dead, I guess make out sessions in the car really take a toll on the battery.

I groaned and walked back into the house, when I reached inside Leo sat where he was when I left but now he was dressed for the day. "Back so soon?" He said without looking at me.

"Cars are dead. Couldn't go, I don't know how we're gonna get to the campus." I said sitting on his lap trying to think of a way to get us to school. "Wait I'll see if we can catch a ride with someone in the building, no biggie." I said with a shrug and pulling out my phone, I quickly shot a quick text to Briennon and she responded saying it was no big deal I smiled and shared the good news with Leo.

"Well then I'm going to fail my history course for the semester, since I don't have my term paper written." I he said as he wiped his hand down his face and groaned.

"You wouldn't be dealing with this if you would've started when I told you." I said laughing at him and walking away to get my bag ready to leave. When I looked back over Leo was watching me instead of typing and I just laughed some more.

"You know I might have the energy and strength to be able to bullshit this paper," He said as he rose out of his chair and walked over to me. Leo dipped his head real low to my face and continued speaking, "if you gave me a kiss." He finished smirking and for a split second I almost did kiss him. Then I snapped out of it and jerked my head back and ran to our room.

"You need to focus on writing you paper Leonard, not kissing me." Even saying it made my cheek flush I could feel it. I could hear his laughter from the other side of the door. "I'm serious, if you fail this course coach said he will bench you the first two games of the season." I reiterated trying to convince him to get serious about his writing assignment.

"Yea, yea Haley I know but all I'm asking for is one kiss bae. One kiss never hurt nobody." The boy had amazing convincing skills I'll give him that but with our track record the simple kiss will lead to a heated make out session which we don't have time for.

"It will if we do, because then you will never write your paper." I told him through the door. He groaned and I heard him walking away, I relaxed slightly but then realized my phone was still in the kitchen. I need to talk to Bri about when we're leaving, I need to go get my phone. I sucked in a deep breath and tried to quietly open the squeaky door. Of course it creaks and Leo stops typing.

"I figured you needed this." He said as I walking into the kitchen, Leo had my phone in his hand. When I reached for it he jerked his hand backwards. "Uh, uh, uh. I gotta get a kiss first." I quickly kissed the side of his face, and backed away before he could turn his head and connect our lips.

"I kissed you, now can I have my phone, please." I said crossing my arms and looking at him, I could feel how my face was burning under his intense stare. I was staring directly at the center of his forehead, I didn't dare look into his eyes because I knew if I did all my resolve would melt like a popsicle on the 4th of July. Then just in the nick of time Bronco started barking, God I love that dog. I walked over to see what he wanted and began playing with him when Leo quietly made his way over to us.

Before I knew what was happening I was off my feet, then Leo began tickling me. I went into a fit of laughter and muscle spasms, Leo carried me all the way to the bedroom. By this time I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes, but he didn't stop. Eventually my back came in contact with our bed and Leo descended his head and tried kissing me. At the last second I turned my cheek towards him, Leo growled and removed his lips from my face all I could do was laugh. Then I flipped us over so that I was on top and mad a run for the kitchen, it didn't take long for him to catch up with me seeming as though his legs are longer and he's faster
