***Dreana & New Character***
***DREANA'S P.O.V.***
"Yes dad I haven't skipped any classes this semester. No dad there aren't any extra rooms so Anonda can come stay with us in the complex building." I spoke with a monotone voice into the phone I was holding to my cheek. My dad was making his daily call to check on me."Well do you think the Fitzgerald's might consider expanding the building so she could stay there with you all?" My father asked into the phone. For him to think that I would even bring that up to them is absurd, I moved out here when Davionna and Jaivanna did so that I could get away from my family. Now he was trying to send her out here.
"No. I am not asking them that dad, Anonda will just have to find somewhere else to live." I said as calmly as I could, he was really pushing my limits this morning. "I gotta go dad I'm running late bye." I rushed him off of the phone before he suggested that she room with Bryan and me, that was a huge no go.
I groaned and flopped back down against the bed, Bryan kissed my shoulder as I snuggled up close next to him. Bryan was great, but when I was at church on Sunday I swear I saw this kid from my childhood. He looked amazing, not to mention he was in the house of the lord Bryan never came to church with me. I tried not to let it effect me but deep down it did, everyone else in the entire building came to church except Bryan. He swears he believes in God and that they have a good relationship but every time Sunday rolls around he finds some way to escape church.
"Is he suggesting talking to DD's parents again?" Bryan asked, I told him about the situation he isn't as worried as me but he doesn't want my sister living with us.
"Yea, he said that I should just mention it to them so that they could consider it." I rubbed my hand down my face and starred at the ceiling for a minute, then I looked at Bryan who didn't really have an expression. "I am not talking to them though, she is just gonna have to live in the dorms or something." I decided still looking at him, he quickly nodded and I shrugged then walked over to the closet to get ready for classes in a few hours.
"So tonight, you know there's campus bible study," I announced trying to get Bryan to come with me. I heard a slight groan come from the room and felt slightly defeated. "Everyone is going, says 'it'll be good for our spirits,' and stuff like that." I further explained while walking back into the room with a brush in hand. I looked over at him to see he was on his phone probably tuning me out.
"Why you always pushing this church stuff on me so hard, huh?" Bryan asked finally acknowledging my presence in the room. I opened my mouth to respond but he beat me to it. "And I swear if you talk about being together in heaven one more time Dre, I'm gonna loose my mind." I quickly shut my mouth and just starred at him, baffled at what he could possibly have against going to church.
"Bryan, look I get it but if you love me. Or have ever loved me can you please just come with me this once?" I begged him. "Please just this once and if you don't like it or you don't feel anything then I will completely understand." I said pleading with him to just come this once so that he will understand, the power and hope and happiness that comes with inviting God into your heart.
"So let me get this straight," I knew this conversation had officially taken a turn for the worst when he said those words. "In order to prove to you I love you, I gotta go to church tonight." I nodded slowly, the concept seemed simple to me but he was baffled by it. "So you can put ultimatums over me to prove I love you but I can't do the same?" I realized where this conversation was going and I didn't like it one bit. "So then if I go to church to prove I love you then you have to sleep with me within the next month to prove you love me." Bryan had delivered his ultimatum and it left me shocked, I mean I knew it was coming but still hearing him say it was different.
