it had been a long day alone in the city's apartment. after or completely giving into boredom, she decided to find something to do in the town this early in the evening.

she wrote a small note in blue pen ink on the pink lined paper she uses to write the entries in her diary and left it on the counter so jimin wouldn't have been worried, coming home to an empty house.

"for starters, i should probably put some clothes for outside. it gets colder everyday."

she wore one of jimin's jackets and some of his sweatpants, too. it wasn't something to be proud of since the only reason she was doing it was because all of her clothes were short sleeved or small.

the first stop was at the fish cake food truck. she bought a couple, leaving three sticks for jimin who would probably be hungry. next was the library where a lot of the university and high school students were going.

"yes, hello. are you looking for a specific book to read or are you going to be looking around?" a small male with mint green hair and a bored look came up to her.

"um, actually, i want to ask if i could get a library card." she fiddled around with the hem of the hoodie that wasn't even hers. "oh. yeah, follow me."

she did as instructed and began to fill out the paperwork with a black ink pen. as soon as she gave the clipboard back, he began to type away at the keyboard, filling out boxes of information in quick speed.

"what brings you here? i've never seen you before."

"me? i moved in with a... person, and, uh, i don't have a job yet so books." the snort that came out of his mouth made herself feel proud. his bored expression made her feel unimportant.

"so books? alright shorty, i've got three books for you. come back in two weeks and i'll give you some more books so you don't look so bored."

her eyes lit up at the pet name, nodding her head in response. "if you come by, just ask for yoongi. see ya."

she waved as she went, a smile forcing the corners of her lips to go up with the encounter and the books in her arms.

the last stop was the cafe jimin worked at. an older teen was wiping down the table with a torn up rag.

"uh, excuse me, miss. the cafe has closed."

jackson.

"sorry, but i was looking for jimin. did he go home already?" her hands were trembling from the contrast in temperatures from the cafe to the cold, cruel outside.

"ah, miss. please sit down and lemme get you some coffee. you look cold."

the statement was truer than he had meant to make it, but she recognized it in the moment the words left his lips.

"are you a friend of jimin's?" he sat down with the big mug in his hands. quietly, jackson slid it over the the cold girl next to him. "mm. we live together in the same apartment- complex! complex, yeah."

jackson laughed, noticing the clothes she was wearing. "youre wearing his clothes..."

she stood up quickly handing over a ten dollar bill. "bye jackson! i'll come by tomorrow!"

after walking the streets with the two plastic bags and a warm scent of coffee trailing after her, she stood outside of the apartment.

"hm? oh, thank god! i thought you were angry at me or something."

"fish cake?"

the two sat down on the cushioned bar stools, finishing the rest of the fishcakes together. "are you wearing my clothes?" "what? he-here! i was just borrowing them-"

"no, no. you look cute in them."

her face was set afire with the compliment.

cute.
