stars
they were everywhere
maybe you couldn't see them
or feel them
but they were there.
stars are billions, trillions of years old
matter can neither be destroyed
or created
in short,
that means that all of our being
are stars
gasses and elements
joined and formed
over and over again
and in the end
we are stars
planets floating in orbit around us
beings of pressure & dust
but we are
also the light-
the flames that engulf us;
they make us shine brighter
and brighter
red velvet
lavender
navy
all of us become a galaxy
a formation
of gasses
dust
planets
comets
a universe.
