Crimson Reunion

Two years later

It had been two years now since that day, the day that kevin saved me from that man, he hadn't seen him since but there was something else that had been bothering him, He hadn't seen his old baby sitter since but he also hadn't seen his old friend Eddy since then, it was very odd one day they were best friends and the next. Eddy was avoiding him like the plague, he had made new friends, though honestly he felt he didn't fit in with them, they were all kevins friends.

It had honestly seemed like kevin replaced Eddy, that day kevin was the one who saved him. And he had become close to him. There was a point in time when he thought he may have had a crush on the football player but he was sure it was just something he would get over, there was a void in his heart where Eddy used to be, they were best friends. Sure. Eddy was loud and obnoxious and he used him allot but he was still his friend.

To be honest edd had become quite worried for his long time friend, he noticed that he was hanging around Marie this past year, and while marie was a really good friend of his he knew by the marks on her arm that she was not the type of person to be hanging around, at least at parties, or when you are feeling down. She pressured him quite a few times and he even had to let her crash on his couch once when she nearly over dosed. So his worry was very high when it came to his friend..or what used to be his friend.

He snapped out of it when the final bell rang for school to let out, he hung around while nazz and kevin spoke a bit but didn't really pay much attention so when he thought it was safe he snuck away, kevin noticed this but was in too deep of the conversation to leave just yet, a sigh escaped his lips when he got to his locker and put his things inside, he only got to a few things before the locker was closed in his face and his books where sent to the floor. A shock of pain was sent through his body when he felt that his pinky was smashed in the door as well but he just shrugged his shoulders up in defense and sucked on his pinky before looking up to see a tall blonde and two brunettes hovering over his small form 

"s-salutations Richard..Dylan..P-Patrick was it?" the tall blonde- Richard scoffed "don't play stupid, pay up..are you still using kevin as a body guard? It seems to me that hes not around..so we will let you go with a small fee" Double d sighed "All I have with me is two dollars" that was a lie but double de refused to give up his parents hard worked mon- he blinked when he was slammed up against the locker his head smacking the cold metal and suddenly those memories started to flood in. that man ontop of him over and over again, even when an actual punch was thrown at him he couldn't tell it.

Eddy was passing through when he happened to notice his old friend, he didn't look too well but made things worse was that he wasn't with kevin..which always meant trouble for double D. unlike eddy and ed double d didn't grow too much, he always had a weak immune system so he didn't grow much.

 Eddy now stood nearly as tall as those football players and was pretty broad, he rand fingers through shabby brown hair until he saw that slam against the lockers, usually he would run away but the look on the his old friends face had his stomach fall to his ass, he immediately ran just as he saw a fist meet the others jaw and started throwing his fists wildly, his blood was still rushing from the last needle he stuck in his arms but he would help the best he could.

Kevin had finally gotten away from the conversation only to hear a ruckus, when he found the loud noises he saw edd on the floor holding himself and he glared at the three men starting to beat the shit out of eddy, why was eddy involved? He didn't care, he had seen that look on double ds face before and he needed to get him home safe, where he could take care of him like he always did..but nobody knew just how much he cared, everyone thought that double d paid kevin to be his body guard..something he begged edd to do for his own sake..which made him feel like an ass hat but he still had a reputation, finally he saw ed, the dumber of the three eds come to eddys rescue which was just enough of a distraction for kevin to sweep up edd and rush him to his car.

"eddy I will save you from these rough chickens!" ed said and immediately all of the boys backed off, ed to everyones surprise was very much liked by the jocks, mostly because he was the star quarter back at pach creek. Sure he was stupid, but they weren't they knew how strong ed was. Once they all ran off ed picked eddy up in a tight hug that had him hissing "there there my friend I will nurse you back to health in no time
