My resolution was short-lived, however.
"Milo, pick me, I'm wearing your favorite thong..." Lara Joy's high-pitched voice made me grimace and I quickened my pace so I wouldn't have to witness him pick his morning quickie.
"I'm not wearing anything, Baby...Just the way you like it..." Jenna Niom purred next and I groaned in disgust.
As we got nearer, I saw Niall head their way from the corner of my eye and when he got the white envelope out of his pocket, I grabbed his arm.
"What the heck are you doing?!" I yell-whispered and the blond haired boy smirked at me.
"Reminding my best friend of your existence..." Why was he being an ass now that we'd finally come up to a truce?!
"And making a fool of me in the process when it's not even like that between Milo and I..." I shot back, annoyed as much at myself for even caring in the first place as I was at him for rubbing it in.
"I thought we'd already discussed that..." He interjected with a wriggle of his eyebrows. "I also need to tell him about his competition..." He added with a wink.
"Shut up!" I exclaimed, my eyes narrowed into threatening slits.
He chuckled.
"Morning, Man!" He then said to somebody behind me and I cringed.
"What's up?" Don Big Head was back.
"I've been asked to deliver this to you..." Niall handed the envelope to Milo over my shoulder as if I wasn't there. "I have to warn you, though," He added. "Kiolyan's set on getting her..."
"I'm right here, thank you very much!" I snapped at Niall, whose smirk got even bigger if possible.
"How much do you bet I'll be the first to give her my D?"
No freaking way.
Had he really shouted that for everyone to hear him?
I clenched my hands and tried to walk away from them but Milo blocked me.
"Don't be such a prude." He added and it took me all I had not to slap him again.
"F*ck you, Bellucci!" I hissed.
"See? That's what I'm talking about." He said to Niall. "She wants my D, don't you, Little Spy?"
"Pigs will be flying before I allow your MST-infected D anywhere near me!" I interjected and tried to get away from them again.
"That's not what you were saying this weekend..." He then answered and this time I turned around, ready to slap him.
"You didn't go th..." I stopped mid-word when I took in his bruised face. Damian had certainly done a good job of defending me, I thought.
The dark circles around his eyes made the green pop but that's all I found in them as he stared at me blankly, looking almost bored.
I huffed and when I tried to walk away, neither he nor Niall stopped me this time.
I was fuming when I reached my locker.
"Damian 1 – Milo 0..." Mel muttered so nobody would hear.
"How about Damian minus one hundred – Milo minus ten thousand?" I interjected with my eyebrows high on my forehead. "I'm so fed up with all those guys..." I sighed and leaned my forehead against the door I was holding. "Maybe I should ask my mother to enroll me in some girls only school or something..."
