Just an inocent drink

I continued to draw until I was dosing off when
"A'right lass I'm all yars!"
"Great let's go" I got up and we walked to his chambers we walked in and I sat down at the table he got out a very old bottle of scotch from a cabinet he got out two glasses and poured the amber liquid in one then pushed it over to me I took a sip ,the liquid burned on the way down
"That's some good scotch" I coughed
"Aye I've had it a while"
"I can tell" I took another gulp form the glass
"This mornin when you said you drink to much ..what did ya mean lass?"
"Oh eh...it dosnt matter..."
We continued to talk about the enterprise most of the night until both of us were drunk
"You *hiccup* can handle your drink well lass *hic* you sure your not Scottish?"
"Nope but I'm close to it *hic*"
"Where are ya from lass?"
"*hiccup* a little place called Ireland *hic*"
"So that's why I love your voice *hic* I always found the Irish accent *hiccup* xy "
"What *hic?"
"I always find the Irish accent sexy *hic*"
"Mr.Scott are you flirting with me *hiccup*" I joked
"If I was *gic* would you like it?"
"Hmm.. I suppose even though both of us won't remember a thing in the morning *hic*"
"Then we best make the most of now"
"How so? *hic*" before I knew it he was kissing my neck
"Scotty ..." He stopped and sat back down on his chair
"Sorry lass .." He looked down I knew this was what I wanted I just didn't know if it was what he wanted or if it was just the scotch ...ah well screw it..I cupped his cheek and smashed my lips onto his he was suprised at first but then I felt him kiss back he moved to my neck I moved my head up allowing him more room he took advantage of this and began to kiss my jawline
"You .. Have ...no ...idea ...how long ..I've wanted to do thas" he said I between breaths
"How so?"
"I fancy ya Dayna always have since the first time I lay me eyes on ya I thought holy shit she's going to be workin with me ? Then when we were on da Bridge I saw you just thinking and you looked so beautiful just relaxed I wanted to kiss ya then and there but I had to resist" he looked down sadly
"Scotty why didn't you say something before?"
"..*sigh* none of the crew can have any relationships with Eachother it's the rules"
"Screw the rules" I met his lips again we put our foreheads together and he broke away
"We can't just do that lass ...even how much I want to" he sighed
"I have to get you drunk now" he laughed
"Why?"
"Can't have you remembering this" he got up and pulled the top off the scotch I knew what was next
"No wait Scotty I can't wait!" Put before I knew it the bottle was in my mouth and the Amber liquid burned down my throat the last thing I remember was everything going black
Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep
"UGH!!" I hit the clock and fell out of bed my head pumping I can't remember a thing the only thing I remember was going with Scotty to have a drink and that's it
"Ugh my head.." I groaned I got dressed and went to the dinning hall I sat next to Scotty and put a hand to my head
"Hangover lass?"
"Shhhhh not so loud my head is just..." I couldn't even finish a sentence how the hell am I supposed to work?
"I can see why your hungover you bloody went and drank all ma scotch"
"Sorry but I do recall you Irving it down my throat"
"I did no such thang lass"
"Mmhmm" I playfully hit his arm
"I know how you can get rid of it" he explained
"Ok we can go before heading to the engines"
"A'right come on then" I finished and followed him to the Medbay before I knew it something was jabbed into my neck and my hangover was gone we walked back to the engine room
"Thanks for stabbing me" I joked
"It wasn't me! It was the doctor" he laughs
"Alright alright come on " we walked in and went our separate ways I was then called over the radio
"Dayna do you copy?"
"Yep what's wrong captain?"
"I need you to meet me in my chambers immediately"
"Aye aye sir" I quickly went to the captains chambers and knocked the door
"Come in" I walked in
"What's wrong captain?"
"Dont always assume there's something wrong Dayna" he laughs
"Sorry sir"
"Please call me Jim"
"Sorry.......Jim "
"It's ok"
"So what did you call me for?"
"I've seen your getting on with Mr.Scott very well ...a little to well ..so I want you to read through this" he hands me a book
"What is it?"
"The ships rule book I Intrust you will read through it and follow them all accordingly "
"Oh...of course captain.."
"Alright your dismissed"
"Thanks sir" I quickly tried to scuttle out
"Oh and Dayna don't be out so late next time"
"O..of course captain " I scuttled out and went back to my desk I flipped through the rule book when
"Rule no.16
No crew member shall be allowed to have sexual relationships with another crew member"
It had a star next to it ..the captain thinks there's something going on between me and Scotty ..but there's nothing going on..right?
"Lass?"
"Huh? Sorry Scotty I was "
"Lost in your thoughts agin I can see that"
"Sorry what's up?"
"Watcha readin there?"
"The rule book.." I sighed
"Oh...where'd you get it from lass?"
"The captain gave it to me "
"Ah...well eh...its lunch time"
"Ok..ill meet up with you in a few"
"A'right" he walked to the dinning hall and I closed the book then threw it into one of the drawers in my desk I got up and went to the dinning hall I wasn't that hungry but I was thirsty I grabbed a bottle of water and sat down
"That's all your havin?"
"Yea I'm not that hungry "
"What's on ya'ar mind lass?"
"Oh it's nothing "
"...ya sure ?"
"Yep I'm fine "
"A'right well ya know if ya want to talk I'm here lass"
"Thanks Scotty " I patted his shoulder and gave him a warm smile before him sat down across from us
"Capin.." Scotty greeted
"Hello Scotty , hello Dayna "
"Hi captain "
"You's should be getting back to work"
"Aye aye captain" we quickly got up and went back to engineering I continued to be bored when red lights started flashing and a alarm was sounding what the hell is happening?
