Scottys POV
I sat there on the verge of tears but I still had a job to do I beamed the last few up and got ready for Kirk and jaylah , she was fighting of some alien on top of a building and the captain was going after her I was so focused on what he was doing I didn't even hear sulu beside me
"Scotty?"
"Huh? What"
He sadly smiled and rubbed my shoulder
"I know ..."
"Y...you knew?"
He nodded slowly
"Found out just before the Christmas ball swore to keep it a secret though"
A tear ran down my cheek I sniffed it away and rubbed my sleeve against my cheek he continued to rub my shoulder
"It's alright , let it out"
I made sure no one was around before replying
"I loved her ...I loved her more than that damn ship and now she's ....she's.."
"SHES FIGHTING OFF THE ALIEN!"
"Come again?" I looked up from my hands and saw my red headed beauty protecting jaylah
"DAYNA!" I shouted jumping out of the seat to get closer to the screen
Daynas POV
Me and jaylah continued to fight when I got hit and fell off the playfrom after regaining myself I got to my feet
"Jaylah!!"
"I am fine! FIND James Kirk!"
I nodded and took off running when I heard a moter bike reve behind me
"Dayna?!"
"Jim!" I yelled back
After a brief encounter Jim told me the cordinates of the 'new' ship that I had to go to I quickly ran off and burst through the door
"DAYNA!"
"Ms.maguire!"
I fell onto the ground panting for air and just nodded
"What no welcome back party?" I panted out when
"LASS!"
My eyes shot open and I met the man who's voice I longed to hear
"Scotty?"
A grin came across his face I got up and tackled him to the ground hugging him for dear life he picked me up and took me to another room where I lavished him with kisses all over his face
"I missed you so much , I thought I wassnae gonna see Ye again lass" he hugged me back just as hard
"I missed you too" I wimpered into his chest
"Shh las is alrigh I'm here now"
We stayed in an embrace for what felt like years but eventually broke away Scotty said he had to beam Jim and jaylah up and he'd be back in a few mintues I nodded and walked around this new ship everyone greeting me with smiles along the way when
"Dayna!!!!!"
"Uhura!!" I screamed as she tackled me into a hug
"Uhura your gonna stop my breathing" I gasped out she reluctantly let me go and helped me up
"I'm so happy your ok! Scotty wasn't himself he thought you......" She trailed off I just nodded
"I know , but hey I'm here now and nothing but a few cuts and bruises"
"Come on I'll take you to bones just to have you checked out"
"Fine" I said rolling my eyes I mean honestly I'm completely fine , we arrived at the Medbay and called for bones I sat down and he checked my pulse and what not
"Seems all is good Dayna , when the enterprise is rebuilt we'll continue your weekly tests"
Uhuras POV (yay new POV!!)
"Whatever" Dayna scoffed I raised a brow at her , she's never rude to anybody
"I think a break will do you good just don't forget anything" bones chuckled at the end Dayna rolled her eyes and scoffed
"Your not that funny stop blowin up your own ass Mr.Mccoy"
"Dayna!" I raised my voice
"Don't be rude what's gotten into you?"
"Oh what would you know your the one who slept with mr.chekov ....in a bathroom!"
I flushed red and dragged her out of the Medbay into the hall
"What the hell! I'm not likening this new attitude of yours !"
"I don't care , I don't stride to impress you now do I?" She pushed pass me and walked back to engineering I just stood there in the hall gobsmacked
"What the fuck?" I yelled to nobody
Third person POV
Dayna continued to storm down the halls pushing past people and not apologising everyone gave her a questioning look to which shed return with a death glare making them look the other way , she finally arrived to engineering
Daynas POV
The door opened and I bumped into someone
"Oh I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I as goin "
"It's alright" she laughed and went on her way

Holy shit it's been so long I am so sorry school is being such a dickbag and my life is super stressful rn Yayy! But there is a light spark in my life too and I hope he stays in it forever ❤️, anyway thank you guys! So much for reading an waiting for this chapter just a quick update I'm gonna get rid of the update schedule cuz I'm not sticking to it and it's upsetting me to keep you guys waiting so long and all that so I'll literally update when I can that sounds mean and I'm sorry but this is my last week of school so plenty of updates for Christmas yay!!! Merry Christmas here's ya present no take backs , again thank you guys for your patience with me I know how bad it is waiting for someone to update and I really am sorry for that anyway
