Chapter 21: The Babies Are Home

(4 days later)

I finally get to go home today. I'm very happy with my twins. They have been sleeping like crazy and rarely cry. When they cry, it's not even loud, they whimper like I did when I was a baby.

"Are excited to go home?" I baby-talked to my twins are they held my finger.

"Babe, I brought you your clothes. Skinny jeans and one of my shirts" Luke said.

"Yay, this stupid hospital grown can go to hell. Thank you" I said and pecked his lips.

I go the bathroom and I put on my jeans and looked in the mirror. I saw the extra skin I had on my stomach, and I frowned.

"I'm going to start going to the gym with Calum and Ashton" I said to myself.

I put on Luke's shirt and walked out of the bathroom. I was still frowning, but once I saw my twins, it disappeared.

"It's funny how we walked into this hospital as clueless teenagers, and walk out as parents" Luke said and I nodded.

"I love them so much" I said running my fingers through their hair.

"Me too" Luke said. "I love you too"

"I love you" I said turning to face Luke. He wraps his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him.

He brought his lips down and kissed me. I kissed back. He's grip tightened and I wrapped my arms around his shoulders.

"Awe, not in front of the kids" I heard someone say and I break the kiss to look at the direction of the noise. I see Michael.

"Liz sighed you out and the nurse will come soon" he said and we nodded.

I turned and faced twins who were in their car seats ready to go.

I played with the curls in Ashley's hair.

"Amber" I heard someone say. I turn around and see a the nurse that helped me all 5 days total. I walk towards her and give her a hug.

"Thanks for helping me" I said.

"It's nothing really, just be careful and good luck" she said and I nodded. "Now that everything is ok and perfect, you guys can go home"

I smiled.

"Thank you, again" I said and she nodded.

I turn around and go to the twins. Luke's grabs each car seat with both hands, since I'm not allowed to carry anything. (His rules). I carried the hospital bag and my purse.

We get downstairs and I see everyone. The boys, Liz, Andrew, Jason and my mom. Everyone smiled and so did Luke and I.

"Are you ready?" Luke asked me and I nodded.

Everyone went their separate ways, except the boys and I. We are currently in the car, about to reach the house and next thing I know we pulled up into the drive way.

Everyone gets out of the car. Calum and Luke each get a baby. We walk in and I can hear Calum and Luke talking to the babies and showing them around.

"Babe, when was the last time they ate?" Luke asked walking towards me.

I looked at my phone since I wrote out the time.

"An hour before leaving the hospital so I should feed them soon" I said and he nodded.

"Do I put Ashley in the nursery?" Calum asked and I nodded.

"I'll put Malum in his crib" Luke said
