Chapter 30: The Park

I wake up to my phone vibrating on my vanity. I tried to get up but Luke's arm was, again, around my waist. He groaned because of the sound.

"Luke, I need to get my phone" I said. He groaned again before letting go. I get up from the bed and walk to my vanity. I grab my phone and answer it.

"Hello?" I asked. No answer. "Hello?"

Again, no answer. I sigh and hang up.

"Who was that?" Luke asked, with one eye open and tiredness in his voice.

"I don't know, private number" I said. "How are you feeling?"

"Great" he said smiling.

"Yay" I said. "Let's do something today"

"Like?" He asked.

"We can take the twins to the park" I said, he looked up to be ceiling before nodding. "Ok, I'll go and get them ready"

I walk out of the bedroom and he'd to the nursery.  I open the door and see that they're both awake.

I change both their diapers and put on light clothes since a it's hot out. I then go downstairs and up them in their chairs. I hear Luke coming down the stairs.

"Luke" I called out.

"Yes?" He asked walking towards me.

"Feed the twins while I go get ready" I said and he nodded. I kiss his lips before leaving and going to the bedroom. I go in the shower and shave my legs.

Once I'm done showering,  I put on some high-waisted shorts and a croptop. I throw on my converse and pull my hair up into a pony-tail.

I grab my phone and purse, before going downstairs to the kitchen. I see Luke smiling and playing with the twins.

"Babe, you would never guess what happened" he said.

"What?" I said giggling.

"Ashley said Da Da" he said and I awee'd.

"Daddy's Girl" I said. "And her first word"

"They're growing up so fast" he said, and I smiled.

"Yeah" I said.

"Has Malum said his first word?" Luke asked and I nodded.

"It was 5sos" I said and he laughed.

"Really?" He asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, I'll get the diapers bag" I said.

"I'll put them in the car seats" Luke said.

I go to the nursery and set up the diaper bag. I come back downstairs and see the twins in their car seat with Luke taking pictures of them.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Taking pictures of the twins" he said.

"I can tell" I said.

"Ready to go?" He asked and I nodded.

He picks up both car seats and we both walk out. I close and lock the front door before going to my car. Luke puts the twins in and I sit in the driver's seat. Luke sits next to me and I start the car.

I then drive to the park.

We get to the park, and I park the car. We get out and Luke sets up the strollers, and puts he car seat into the stroller. I get Malum and Luke gets Ashley.

We start walking around the park and talking. The twins soon fell asleep and Luke and I kept talking.

"Wanna get ice cream?" Luke asked pointing at the ice cream truck. I nodded.

We walk to the truck and get our ice cream. After getting our ice cream, we walk to the closest bench and sit down.

It was so hot that the ice cream started melting before I could finish it. So I had a mess and ruined my shirt.

"Great" I said looking at my shirt than sighing. Luke just smiled and watch me try cleaning it. "You think this is funny?"

"Very" he said.

"You would've also made a mess, but that big ass mouth of yours" I said.

"That was mean" he said.

"Sorry" I said kissing his cheek.

I noticed that the twins were waking up, so I quickly grab two bottles I toke from the fridge and gave it to them. They both quietly ate.

Luke and I stood up and continued walking to we got back to where the car was. While a couple fans came to take pictures with Luke, I put the twins back in the car. Once Luke finishes, he gets in the car and I get in. I start the car and start driving home.

We arrive at the house and Luke gets the twins. As soon as we enter the house, I start feeling dizzy.

"Luke, can, uh, put the twins in their room" I said rubbing my temples.

"Of course" he said. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah, must have gotten too much sun" I said.

"Ok" he said.

I hear him go up the stairs, and I go to the kitchen to get some water. After drinking the water, I set the cup in the sink and go to the bedroom. I see Luke walking into the bathroom.

"Where are the boys?" Luke asked.

"They texted me saying they went to spend the night with family" I said, he nodded.

I go to the bathroom, and go to close the door but Luke blocked it.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Going to take a shower" he said.

"Fine" I said going to walk out again, but he grabs my arm.

"We need to save water" he said.

"You are a horny little boy" I said.

He grinned and tried to wink.

"Luke, you can't wink" I said, and he frowned. I rolled my eyes and kissed his lips.
