Chapter 25: Tour

*a couple months later*

The twins have been an a pain in the ass. They get me really stressed, to the point where I'm about to rip my hair out. The twins are now potty training, and they do not like it.

Luke has been super busy with the band, and they are about to go on tour, even though he hasn't tolled me. I know he's hiding it from me, because when ever I mention the band or album and he gets all quiet and wanting to change the topic.

"MALUM, ASHLEY" I yelled and they laughing. I look at them and that stop. "You guys are going in time-out, and I won't let you see daddy"

"No" Malum said.

"No? Did you just say no, to me?" I scoffed. "I'm gone get cha"

The twins then started running around the house. I catch up to Ashley and pick her up. I tickle her belly and she screaming/ laughing.

I then go and catch Malum.

"Ok, can you please behave for mommy?" I asked and they just looked at me. "Mommy is stressed, you guys aren't helping"

"Sleep" Ashely said and then yawned. Malum then yawned.

"Let's get you guys to bed" I said looking at the clock and taking them upstairs.

I got to the bathroom and close the door so they don't leave. I strip them and I give each of them a bath. I towel dry them and put on their pjs.

I pick them up and put them each in their crib. They soon fall asleep. I walk out and close their door. I got to Luke and I's bedroom, and I go to the bathroom. I take a shower.

After my shower, I dry myself and get dressed in pjs. I look at the clock and it says 9:38pm. I sigh knowing the boys are getting home late. I go to my favorite little fridge and grab a bottle of wine. I grab a wine glass and go to the living room. I open the bottle and pour the wine in the glass, I close the bottle and grab the glass.

I grab the remote to the TV and look through the different channels. I find something interesting, and start to watch. I also drink my wine.

Half a bottle later and 2 hours of TV, I hear the door open. I look in the direction and see the boys walk in. I stay quiet.

"I'm so tired" Michael complains.

"Me too" Calum said.

"Yeah" Ashton agreed.

"Hey babe" Luke said walking my direction.

"Hey" I said quietly. He goes to kiss my cheek but I move away and he gets confused.

"I'm going to bed" I said, then drank the rest of my glass of wine. I grab the bottle and put it back in the fridge and put the glass in the sink.

I go straight to the bedroom and lay on the bed just wanting to think. The door opens and I see Luke's figure walk in.

"Babe" Luke said. I turned on my side facing away from him.

"When we're going to tell me?" I asked.

"What are you tal-"

"You know exactly what I'm talking about" I said cutting him off. He sighs.

"I don't know" he said and I can tell he was being honest. "You know I don't want to leave you and the twins"

I stayed quiet.

"Look, I don't want to go" he said. "And you know that. Please don't me mad at me"

"I'm not mad at you" I said.

"You're acting like you're mad" he said. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I'm fine" I said.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yes" I said turning to look at him. He comes to my side of the bed to kiss me, but things got pretty heated...

"I'm going to miss you" I said with my arms around Luke's neck.

We are at the airport and the boys are leaving for tour. While the boys are saying bye to their families, Luke saying goodbye to the twins and I.

"I'm going to miss you too" he said said giving me a quick peck before hugging me. We pull apart and he looks at he twins.

"Ashley" he said. "Be good, and help mommy" she nods.

"Malum" he turned to the Malum. "You need to protect Mommy and Ashely, ok?"

Malum nodded.

I love how smart they are.

"High-5" Luke said holding his hands out and the twins high fives him. "Ok, family hug"

I pick up Ashley and Luke picks up Malum, and we all hug.

"Luke" I heard Ashton say.

We let go and put the twins down. I hold the twins hands.

"I love you" I said to Luke. He kisses me.

"I love you too" he said.

"Call me when you land" I said and he nodded. The boys started walking away. Luke turned around and waved at the twins.

I get back to the house with the twins and it feels really empty, and quiet. Since I'm use to Michael yelling at the TV in the living room. I try and stay positive for the twins since I'm feeling kinda depressed.

"You guys hungry?" I asked and smiled. I grab two bottles from the fridge. Both bottles have formula, but I give a cold one to Ashley and put Malum's in the microwave for a couple of seconds.

Once I mix it and let it cool down, I give Malum his bottle. They gladly drank their milk. Once they finished, they give me the bottles. I put them on the floor and they start running around.

I hear a knock on the door and I walk to the door. I open it and see Lexie.

"Hey, come in" I said.

"Hey, Luke texted me before he left to come and keep you company. Plus help" she said and I smiled.

"Awe, thanks. That means a lot" I said.

"No problem. Ok the system is, Victoria and I will switch every week taking turns. We can all have sleepovers, plus you do have free days, which is when Victoria and I can take care of the twins and you get the day to yourself" she said and I nodded.

"This sounds fun" I said. "And really helpful"

"It's nothing, I haven't been doing anything with my life so I might as well enjoy my free time with my bestie" she said and we hugged.

I then hear the twins running behind me.

"I swear I'm about to rip my hair out" I said.

"This isn't even the worst part, just wait till they're toddlers, that's would be hell" she said and we laughed.

"Let's go in be living room and chat" I said and she nodded.
