Chapter 6
Layla's P.O.V.
Huuh. Why does my head hurt so much? I have such a killer headache, and my throat feels dry. I open my eyes a see I'm not in my room. Okay well my new room at the Anderson's. I look closely taking in details. Their clothes all over the floor. Posters of bands and half dressed women. So I'm in a guys room but were am I, who's clothes are they, what happened last night? I have so many thoughts going through my head I didn't realize that I didn't have any clothes on and that there was a guy more specifically Justin walking out of the bathroom with just boxers on. "Umm Justin... what happened last night?"
"I don't really know. I woke up next to you and that’s it."
"Do you think we did anything?" I asked
"Maybe if your clothes are all over the place." Ohmigod. I'm so dead
"I'm dead." I stated covering my head with my hands. I'm so dead if James finds out or worse his or my parents. I've been a virgin till last night. I'm so dead.
"Hey, it’s ok. I won’t tell anyone if you’re that ashamed. What do you have a boyfriend back home or something?" he tried to sooth me. Emphasis on tired.
"No, it just... never mind you wouldn't understand." I said
"It’s ok. ummmm..."
"Oh sorry I'll leave." I was so upset I didn't even realize I was being an incovinece. Like always. This is why I don't go to parties. "Let me just put my clothes on." I grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around myself and hurried into the bathroom.
When I got out of the bathroom I tried to find my way down stairs and out the door. Just realizing I don't know where I'm going and I don't have Mr. or Mrs. Anderson's number or James. Great now I have to find my way home.
Justin's P.O.V.
I don't know what happened last night but I can tell by looking at Layla's face this morning that she was shocked and probably a virgin. If you think about it is shocking thinking she's one. She's really hot. I didn't even know when she left because I went to make her something so she'll come down but nope she was gone. I don't really know where Mr. nice-guy came from. It's mostly bang the girl and leave but for some reason I don't see her like that. I looked outside I saw that she was sitting on the front porch with her head in her hands. I walked outside and saw she was shaking. Not a lot but she looked like she was crying. I put my hand on her shoulder and she literally jumped five feet in the air. "Hey it’s just me. Why are you still here?" I asked a little concerned but she took it the wrong way when I saw anger in her eyes.
"Oh wouldn't you want me gone. And if you care I don't know where I'm going and I left my phone at home " she looks like she's trying to hide something but I'm not going to push it. I gave her my phone and she took it dialing the number hoping someone would pick up.
"Hello, Oh thank god you picked up."
"WERE ARE YOU LAYLA. MOM AND DAD ARE GOING TO KILL ME. I'VE BEEN COVERING FOR YOU." Someone yelled. To voice sounded familiar but I just shrugged it off.
"I don't know. I've been here the whole time. Why would they care I wouldn't get in trouble as much as you since I wasn't suppose to leave the house but you... never mind can you just pick me up?" there was a silence since the guy wasn't yelling who I'm guessing is her brother.
"Okay whatever a$$whole, bye" she yelled into the phone.
"Sibling problems?" I asked her
"Ya something like that. can you drop me off at the nearest McDonalds?"
"Ya sure. Do you want me to stay with you?" I asked. She's new and I scared she would get lost or something.
"NO! That’s ok just drop me off." She answered but for some reason she hasn't had any eye contact since last night.
"Are you not looking at me because of last night?" She turned her head to hide a blush I couldn't see. "If you want we could forget it never happened? It seems like it would make you feel better."
"Thank you." She said with a smile.
I dropped her off at McDonald’s and left. I didn't feel like it was safe but i just ignored the feeling.
Layla's P.O.V.
I'm sitting here waiting for James to pick me up. Ten minutes later and he still hasn't shown up. I'm sitting there and I heard a grumble and just realized if I hadn't eaten since last night before the party. I get up to grab something to eat and I see James flirting with the girl be hide the counter, I walked up to him and hit him the back of the head and asked "You couldn’t of even told me you were here idiot."
"Who's this?" the girl asked in disgust
"I'm his cousin." I lied. Really why would I want anyone to know I'm about to be engaged to him.
"Oh, Hi I'm Melanie" she turned up her sweet voice
"Like OMG my name is Lyala." I said back in a preppy attitude that was completely fake. "James can we please go home, I'm tired and have a nasty hangover."
"Yeah whatever." He said sounding p!ssed

After we got home I was bombarded with questions from James' parents. "Layla are you okay? How are you feeling? Do you need to go to the doctor?" Mrs. Anderson asked. I cringed away because of my hangover.
"I'm feeling better just a headache, but thanks for asking Mrs. Anderson."
"Awww sweetie call me Lily or Mom, since you'll be my daughter soon." She smiled big.
"Ummm okay??? I think I'll stick to Lily."
"Okay sweetie and don’t forget you have your first day of school tomorrow." She smiled sweetly which I gratefully returned.
