Ch. 13

JOSH'S POV

I woke up still on Teegan's couch it felt nice since I haven't slept in about a week. Teegan wasn't beside me anymore I know when I fell asleep she was so I rolled off the couch and started looking for her. I figured she might have gone to her bed but she wasn't there either. I walked up stairs and went into the kitchen to see if she was there I noticed her mom was gone probably at work already. It worried me when i couldn't find her, well because I know her, I know her better than her mom even after she told her mom about smoking and skipping school. I looked out the kitchen window and saw her having a smoke. I snuck out side she didn't hear me. I creeped up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist, kissing her on the cheek.

"You sacred me" she said choking on the smoke from her cigarette. She laughed a little then she turned around and kissed me.

"I try" I kissed her back and lit my own smoke.

"How did you sleep?" She asked and I took a puff of my smoke.

"Good it felt nice to finally sleep, how are you feeling?" I pulled her closer by her waist. She blew the smoke in the opposite direction I was in. I was so luckily to have a beautiful girlfriend like Teegan what did I do to deserve her.

"Ok I still have pains in my stomach but my head doesn't hurt anymore. " I looked down to her and kissed her on the forehead and wrapped one arm around her.

"What time is it" I asked her expecting it to be about 8 or 9.

"12:30" she said taking another puff.

"Holy shit really I slept that long" I was surprised at how long I had actually slept. Usually if I do sleep it's only for a couple of hours. We walked back into the house after stomping on our cigarettes and throwing them into the bush. Teegan grabbed a pill and water because she still had pains I hoped the went away soon because the last place I want her to be is back in the hospital. We walked back into the living room.

"My mom works late tonight she probably won't get home until tenish" she said sitting on the couch.

"Your still coming to my house for supper tonight. Right?" I sat down beside her. She put her head on my shoulder and nodded. I heard a knock at the door Teegan jumped up right away and I followed her. She opened the door and as she did there stood a guy he looked a little bit older had dark hair like Teegan used to before she dyed it he was shorter not as short as Teegan but shorter that me. I saw Teegan's jaw drop.

TEEGAN'S POV

I walked up to the door I was still holding Josh's hand. I opened the door and my jaw dropped and I let go of Josh's hand and tried to keep tears from rolled out of my eyes.

"H-hi" he said "can I come in" I didn't know what to do I haven't seen him in four years and now he is standing in my door way.

"C-Cole what are you doing here" I stuttered out. I was still trying to hold back the tears.

"Let me in and I'll explain" he said with a soft tone. He looked a lot different since I last saw him. Now he had tattoos, he always wanted them when he lived here but dad would never let him. He had more muscle, he was always a skinny kid growing up.

"Um ok" me and Josh both backed away from the door to let him in. He sat down on the chair in the living room me and Josh sat on the couch. I gripped Josh's hand. "ok explain" I said I'm not really sure if I was happy or mad or upset. I just really didn't know.

"What exactly do you want me to explain" he asked. Josh looked at me I still think I wasn't sure what was going on.

"I want you to explain why you left why you stopped calling and why after not talking to you for 4 years you all of a sudden show up at my door." I stood up now I know I was really upset. It was taking every bit of energy I had to not let tears run down my eyes.
