Ch. 25

The story jumps in time again :)

TEEGAN'S POV

Finally. Today's the day. Me and Josh are getting out of this hole. So many things happened here like I have ideas for new songs and so does Josh. He told me that he already started working on the melody with the lyrics but he wouldn't show me anything yet all I know it that it has something to do with his love letter. In rehab they made us wright I love letter to our drug, stuff like how it made us feel and how we feel about leaving it. Perfect idea for a song if I do say so my self.

I finished packing the rest of my things. I don't know how Josh did it but we ended up getting the same release date. As I started zipping up my suit case the zipper caught something. I pulled it out realizing that it was the picture of Josh and I at the music festival, I smiled as memories started flooding my head. Josh really is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

I stuffed the picture back into my bag as I heard a knock on the door followed by a nurse walking in with a big smile on her face.

"Are you all packed and ready to go home." She said with a peppy tone and smile on her face. I just nodded unable to hold down my grin. "Ok follow me, there is someone waiting for you in the main hall" She continued and started to walk out of the room. I followed her out the door with my bag and down the hallway.

When we finally reached the main hall the first person I saw was Josh. I smile instantly grew on my face when I saw his parents along with my mom, Matt, Tasha and Josh's sister Sara all sitting at a table. Tasha was the first to notice me running towards them, she quickly stood up a ran closer. We didn't stop until we jumped into a hug. I saw at the corner of my eye everyone else start walking towards us. I slowly worked down the line next I gave Matt a hug then my mom. My mom's hug was the longest I missed her so much. I worked my way down the line hugging Sara next then Josh's parents. Josh stood at the end of the line with a cheeky smile and his arms spread noting that he felt left out and wanted a hug too. I smiled at him as I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist.

I giggled a little, "long time no see hey Josh"

"Ya did you miss me" we laughed and rested our foreheads on each other's. Josh kissed me. It was like no one else was there just us.

"Uh hum" I neared Matt and Tasha sound in unison. Me and Josh pulled away and giggled.

"You guys ready to go" my mom said. Josh and I both nodded our heads. Everyone started walking out towards the main office so we could check out.

"Big crowd you got here" the receptionist said with a big smile on her face.

"Well when you have two people checking out it draws a crowd" said Josh's dad as he patted Josh on the shoulder.

"Well it was nice meeting the two of you but I hope that I won't have to see you guys here again" the receptionist continued. Josh and I both giggled as we finished signing paper work. "Ok you both are free to go" she said as we handed her the paper work.

Tasha, Matt, Josh, and I all piled in to Tasha's car while our parents and Sara piled into Josh's parents car. They figured we would want time to catch up. They told us we could go to the mall or something. It was nice to finally see something other than the inside and back yard of the rehab centre. Finally getting out of there felt good. I missed hanging around town. There is nothing I could do to thank everyone who helped me through this. Josh, Tasha, my mom, all the nurses at the rehab centre, if it wasn't for them I would still be doing drugs or worse. I could be dead.

"Hey instead of going to the mall, could we run home and get our swim suits and go to the beach" Tasha asked hope we would answer yes.

"Sure fine by me" I said. Going to the beach would be fun. I mean come on its summer and I've been stuck in rehab. The guys just shrugged their shoulders meaning they wanted it to look like they didn't care but secretly they really wanted to.

Once we finally stop at all our houses and got our swim suits and towels we were finally off to the beach. I made sure I grabbed my camera, beach chair and a book. I'm not really on for swimming.

The beach wasn't too packed but there were a fair amount of people there. I first set up my chair and started to lay down.

"Awe come on your not going to come into the water" Tasha said dropping her bag as she started walking towards the water.

"No not right know" I said while laying completely on my chair. I would much rather sit here in my blue bikini on my beach chair and read a book than go in the water. "Maybe later" I said opening my book.

"Whatever" I heard her say as she started walking off "you don't know what your missing" she continued as I noticed Josh whisper something in her ear. All she did was smile and nod. I put my eyes on my book and didn't really think much of anything. That was until I felt strong arms wrap around me. Losing the grip on my book it fell to the ground.

"Josh!" I screamed "Put me down!" I screamed louder as he through me over his shoulder.

"I have no idea what you are talking about" he laughed.

"Really we are going to play this game again" I heard him laugh some more. I even heard Tasha and Matt laughing. "This isn't funny Josh please put me down"

"You really want down"

"Yes" just as I spoke I realized that he was standing in the water but before I could say anything I felt the cold rush of water hit my body. Coming up to the surface I gave Josh a death glare. He just returned it with his cheeky smile as he held out his hand to help me up. But instead of him helping my up I pulled him into the water soaking him as well.

"Ok ok I deserved that one" Josh said once he came up to the surface.

"Damn right you did" I said still acting likes was mad at him.

"Awe come one Teegan lighten up, it was a joke."

"I didn't find it funny"

"Ok I'm sorry"

"What was that, I didn't quite hear you" a small smile grew on my face.

"I said I'm sorry" my smile grew even more as he tried to warp his arms around me but I pushed him away. "Come on baby I said I'm sorry" at that point I couldn't hold it in any longer.

"Gotcha" I laughed his facial expression was price less. He laughed too and pulled me into a hug. I dug my face into his chest.

"I love you Teegan"

"I love you too Josh"

Ok yes I know short and cheesy but that probably what the rest of the sorry will be like. Only a couple more chapter not sure how many. But then I'm starting a new one.
