"It's finally the weekend!" Kirsten yells from the bathroom.

"That's how everyone feels." I yell back.

"You got any plans?"

"No. I haven't talked to my uncle in a while so I might see him. What about you?"

"I'm gonna party my ass off!"

"Do you have party my ass off money?"

"I always find a way." She comes out of the bathroom.

"Did you give the money I gave you for the rent to Fred?"

"Um yea, yea I did."

"You're sure?"

"I'm pretty sure I would know if I gave someone money."

"Okay, I trust you." I get my phone and call my uncle. He answers on the second ring.

"Hey." I answer.

"How's my favorite niece doing?" He laughs.

"I'm fine. How about you?"

"I'm great."

"Well that's good to know."

"How's the car?"

"It's fine and once again thank you."

"Anything for you darling. Why'd you call?"

"What? I can't just check up on the best uncle ever?"

"I don't think so, for you that is."

"Well, do you have any plans tonight?"

"No. Hey why don't we have dinner and talk?"

"Sounds like a plan!"

"I'll see you there."

"Alright love you."

"Love you too."

"Bye."

"Bye." I hang up and watch TV to pass the time. After a while Kirsten comes into my bedroom.

"What's going on today? Still nothing?" She sits on the bed.

"Now since you asked my uncle and I are going to dinner."

"Oh what else?"

"Well we're gonna talk."

"Talk about what?"

"That's for him and me to find out and for you to never know."

"Whatever."

"Who are you going out with tonight?"

"People. I'll let the party lead me."

"I hope you understand that this month is your turn to pay rent."

"I know mom."

"Ha ha but seriously."

"I know."

"Where are you going?"

"That new bar on Huffington Street."

"Oh. Well I need to go." I say grabbing my purse.

"You have to dress that nice?"

"It's my uncle we're talking about. It's not like he's taking me to a café."

"Hhm mhm. Well see ya."
