Jake's P.O.V

I put the rest of my clothes on and I head to Ashley's room. I stand at the door not wanting to walk in. I shake my head and begin to walk away.

"Good morning to you too." Ashley says as I smile. I turn around and too see her sitting on her bed looking at TV.

"Good morning." I say as she turns twoards me.

"That's better."

"Bye."

"Bye. Have a good day at work." I smile and head to work. While I'm in the car I stop suddenly when I remember something.

"Shit." I say. I forgot my papers. I have a big meeting today and I need those papers. I would turn around but I'm already here. I get out of the car and grab my phone. I grab my briefcase and head in the building.

I dial Ashley's number on the way to my office. She doesn't answer. I leave her a message and I text her. I finally sit down in my chair as my heart races. What if she doesn't bring my stuff?

What am I supposed to say at the meeting? I'm sorry I forgot my papers. The papers that decide whether your company sponsors mine. Maybe she'll see the message and bring them. I hope she does it fast.

While I'm thinking of a plan someone knocks on my door.

"Come in." I say.

"Hello Mr Boss." My assistant says switching over to me.

"Hello."

"So I can see you haven't been acting the same since that girl came in here."

"Okay."

"Are you two in a serious relationship or something? I'd understand if you two were... that is if you help me."

"No we're not. You know I'm not a relationship guy."

"Then why don't we have a little fun?"

"I have meeting today."

"And? We can have a little private meeting right here." I consider her option. I mean I am a man with wants and needs.

"Close the door." I say while loosening my tie. If I'm not getting it from Ashley I have to get it from someone.

Ashley's P.O.V

I turn down the music playing and I go back to my room seeing my phone has a notification. It's s text from Jake.

Jake: hey can you please bring me the papers on the edge of my nightstand with the sticky note with today's date. Pls bring them as fast as you can I have a very important meeting today.. thanks.

I sigh. I don't feel like driving to his job but I guess this is very important to him. I put on a shirt and a pair of jeans. I find my combat boots and put them on while putting my hair in a high ponytail. I grab my car keys and purse and head out. I run back into the house to get the papers I'm supposed to be bringing. How could I forget?
