Malin immediately put his hands in a defensive position in front of him, ready to pull up a ward when she fired. He waited, keeping an intense gaze locked with Astra's. The flames in her throat flickered ominously, but . . . It didn't fire? Is something wrong with her? Malin questioned. The scaly grip around his leg wasn't getting any tighter, or looser.

The dragon had a pained expression on her face now, the fireball dimming. She spoke in some strange language, like before, but her voice was much softer. She was pleading, it seems? Astra's face went back to fury, the fire blazing up, her voice harsh. And she was speaking in that odd language. Seriously, what was she saying?!

"Does anyone have a clue what she's saying?!" Malin said with a bit of frustration. Astra was going back and forth in the voices and completely ignored Malin now. Lynn might know what they're saying, since he's seen clues of her having a linguistic education or something, but she was still passed out, most likely.

"You sincerely have no idea what language that is?" The mysterious man said. Just about everyone's heads turned to him, still not having the slightest idea who he was. "She's obviously not a dragon," He said matter-of-factly, "since dragons originate from Esenon. How would she be able to speak Russian if her supposed 'nationality' is of Esenon's?"

"Who are you?" Bella growled, having an expression that said she was about to shift into a dragon and rip the person to shreds. He just sighed, clapping his hands together. "I'll give an introduction after I spilt that dragon," He said, pulling his hands apart to reveal a long, thin, shadowy blade-like thing, ebbing with the purpose of slicing. "Can you get down, little guy?" He cooed to Malin. "DON'T CALL ME LITTLE!" He snapped, his movements moving him to the side.

As soon as he was out of the way, the blade sat up vertically on his palm, lashing out at Astra and completely slicing her in half.

He expected to see the innards of Astra, but that wasn't the case. It was just . . . light? Astra's two sides had surprised expressions, none of them were bleeding. The two sides of her were glowing intensely with a bright white light. Malin shut his eyes to prevent himself from becoming blind. The glowing ebbed away after a short period of time, the grip around him dropping him to the grass softly. His eyes flew open and he saw just two melted, white lumps of light, flickering weakly.

The lumps began to shift and mold into something more human. A few moments of this and the light vanished, revealing two people. They were curled up into balls, but the one on the right was moving must faster than the other. The same one got up fast, showing their appearance.

A young girl that seemed to be in her teens was standing tall. She was very muscular and had a cold glare in her icy blue eyes. Her hair was white as snow, short, and boyish. The girl had a sleeveless storm grey top with a red parka tied around her waist, black shorts with a white stripe down each side, and a pair of grey fur boots. He noticed a gold gleam around her neck that dipped into her shirt.

She took one look at Malin and her coldness practically made him shiver as if he was standing in the middle of a snowstorm. The girl marched over to him so fast he didn't have time to register the hand that grabbed his front and yanked him up. "Explain," she said harshly in a thick accent Malin couldn't recognize. He gulped, trembling nervously. "W-who are you?" he asked quietly. She growled, "Answer me first, pridurok."

Sky got up and prepared a fireball in her hand. The flames flickered dangerously in her palm. "Let him go," she demanded, "or I will use force." The girl looked at her oddly and scoffed. "You think your puny fire will hurt me?" Taking her free hand, she conjured an icicle spear in her hand out of thin air and swiped at the flames, melting half of it in the process. Malin saw what she was doing, however.
