Lindsey had fond memories of the Irish bar 'Neart' (means strength in Gaelic), it seems like yesterday he had just discovered this trove containing one of his most beloved treasures. He smiles as he looks at the sign on the roof, he breathes in the air of the san fernando valley, '' Man I'm dying for an irish coffee'' he thinks to himself. He walks in and Rodney notices him '' Eh, if isn't my little lassie's new best man'' Rodney shouts, Lindsey chuckles '' how are ya Rodney. I'm taking it my little girl told you everything''. Rodney's eyes nearly pop out '' Oh she'd have to after all, she's almost like me own.'' his quite a skinny man and very tall, he's grown a beard since him and Lindsey first met. But he seems to be in a better spirit, he must be feeling very happy for Sari. Lindsey sits down at a table '' Hey I heard from a little bird that Sari was here, where's my little girl?'' he ask, Rodney gives Lindsey a wink '' she's just out back, I'll grab here for ya.'' Rodney disappears through the door behind the counter. Lindsey definitely felt like he was in a typical irish pub, being to Ireland quite a few times, he loved it over there. The locals always complained about the rain, but he loved the rain. '' Here she is'' Rodney brings Sari out, her face cracks into a giant smile and almost jumps on Lindsey, nearly knocking him over. '' Dad!'' she exclaims in joy, he clutches onto her. He loved having her in his arms and seeing her back to her healthy and perky self, '' Let me look at you'' she removes herself from his grip, and takes a few steps back so he can see her.
She's looking much healthier than when he visited her during bed-rest, she's wearing a wearing a black maxi dress '' so much like her mother'' Lindsey thinks. She's lightened her hair, and her sickly-thin frame is no more she's got some of her muscle definition back, '' looks like you managed to gain all your muscle back in no time.'' She blushes, and takes his hands in hers '' I'm so happy to see you.'' They sit down, the bar is quiet today, it usually gets very crowded at night time. They order some food to eat, Lindsey burst out loud with some of the stories that Sari's telling him. '' She's a great cook isn't she'' he says with taking another bite of his pizza, Sari smiles '' Oh yeah she's incredible! but I always got annoyed at her when she'd cook for me but only for me, cause all she'd eat was her stupid weight watcher meals, bleurgh''. Lindsey chuckles, '' She made me chicken noodle soup one time'', '' Oh no I told her not to treat you like a child'', '' no, no, she didn't. Oh my gosh it was the best chicken noodle soup I had ever had'' Sari says. '' Has she made you her spaghetti bolognaise.'' Lindsey ask, '' No, but on the last night she made me chicken pot pie. Cause I don't really eat red meat, once a month is enough for me.'' Lindsey laughs '' she called me on the last night, aside from the emotional talk of leaving you. She said that she did not believe that you don't like mexican food.'' Sari burst out into laughter '' Oh my gosh, did she tell you her reaction.''.
'' No, she didn't'' he took another bit of his pizza, '' this is really good'' he adds before Sari talks. '' She walked into my bedroom one night, and said 'Okay well Karen and I craving Mexican takeaway like mad, what would you like? and I said '' oh no I don't really like mexican food. And her face was like'' she did her best impression of Stevie's shocked face causing Lindsey to uproar into laughter, '' and then she was like, I'm sorry did the nurses switch the babies or something...or are you even mine. Because I was eating Mexican food like mad when I was pregnant with you.'' Lindsey burst into another fit of laughter. Sari tries to control herself from her spasms of laughter '' oh she was cute, I miss her so much'' she says before taking another bite of pizza, Lindsey calms down '' She'll be back in no time honey, besides she calls you every day. She even told me she misses you already'' Sari smiles. Words could not even begin to describe how happy she's been feeling lately, having her mother and her father in her life, being able to say the words '' mom and dad'' was the best thing for her. '' You know when she comes back I'm gonna invite her over and I'm gonna cook for her, make her some 'real' food none of that chicken breast and baby carrots, I mean that stuffs good but eating it every day must be boring. Plus her special time is a tub of yoghurt, I eat three tubs of yoghurt for breakfast with a whole heap of fruit. And for dessert I'll have like a fricking monster dish of chocolate pudding.'' Lindsey chuckles again at his daughter's cheekiness in not being afraid to admit she could be a bit gluttonious towards her food sometimes. And he couldn't believe for a healthy and fit girl like herself she loved her pudding...
