Mirror, Mirror.

Stevie sits in the presidential suite of the hotel, she's lucky that she's only got over a month to go on tour then she's back in LA, but most of all she's looking forward to seeing Sari. Lindsey's been telling her over the phone that she's bounced right back to her usual and energetic self, Stevie hasn't had any time in the past couple of nights to ring Sari. Neither has she heard anything from her, but she's understanding, must be very busy with the Chris brown , and seeing as she has a couple of days off now she was very eager to contact Sari. She goes to take another sip of her tea when Lori burst into her hotel room with her Ipad in her hand, '' You'll never guess what I've found!'' she exclaims. Stevie watches Lori make her way over to the couch where Stevie is sitting, reading her magazines and having her tea. '' Why what is it?'' she says taking of her glasses, Lori sits down beside her '' Did Sari mention any other talents aside from dancing?'' Lori ask her, causing Stevie to whirl about in her thoughts about what Lori is trying to say. Lori sense's Stevie's confusion '' All right okay, so Jessie posted a video on her Facebook it was a video she found of the opening show of Chris brown's mini west coast tour. Apparently Chris must have gotten sick, and so he begged four of his backup dancers to do an opening number or something...Do you see where I'm going with this''. Stevie thinks '' Let me see four back up dancers, Sari's a backup dancer on that same tour...'' she says out loud and clicks her tongue while trying to think....Then it hits her '' Don't tell me she did a little dirty dance...'' Stevie says sternly. 

Lori shakes her head '' No better, I recognised Iman as one of the girls. Stevie they did an acapella medley of Whos loving you by the Jackson five, cry me a river by Justin Timberlake and then sang a Lauryn hill song called Doo wop. The four girls have been singing together since they met as little girls and their harmonies are out of this world...Stevie you're little girl, she can sing! She's fricking incredible.'' Stevie's eyes lit up in surprise and she looked at Lori's Ipad '' Well don't just sit there woman show me the video!'' she exclaims. Lori opens the webpage and they wait for the video to load, '' Oh Stevie you're wi-fi reception in here is horrible'' Lori moans, '' I didn't notice'' Stevie half-heartedly jokes. The video finally loads and Lori presses play, Sari does the opening note and her voice blows Stevie away! her voice didn't have Stevie's vibrato but it definitely had her strength and beauty that Stevie's voice had when she was much, much younger. As each of the four girls sing a line, and despite the crowd in the video not knowing who they are, everyone was going made over them. And when their voice came together in harmony it made the audience scream and shout like mad, Stevie's eyes started to water a little '' Oh my gosh, she's amazing! they're amazing! I never knew'' Stevie says. Stevie could definitely hear the motown and R&B influence in Sari's voice, in all of the girls voices, the four of them obviously are influenced by that whole genre and style of music.  

'' Look at the views they've gotten, this was only posted a night ago and they've already got two million hits on views.'' Lori adds. Stevie puts her hands on her cheeks, '' I just, I mean, just, WOW! she never told me, I'm just blown away..in fact I'm a little frightened because their harmonies kinda kicks ours under the bed'' the two laugh in unison at Stevie's joke. She was left speechless at Sari's voice, and why she'd keep a voice like that under wraps, '' I have to call her'' Stevie gets up and grabs Karen to call Sari for her.... 

(Meanwhile in the west coast)  

It was midnight and all the girls couldn't sleep. They hadn't paid any attention to the success of that I-phone recorded video of them that's going around the internet. Tasha comes out of the bathroom drying her hair, all the girls cramped into the tour bus, '' Man everyone went mental tonight when we walked onstage. Funny the first night was like who the hell are these hoes'' Tasha jokes. Tasha is the same height as Sari, she has beautiful almost dark skin, very sleek dark eyes and very contoured cheek bones. Sari just adored Tasha, she was so sweet, they met through Bekky and Iman. Sari does some stretching with Iman on the floor '' Honestly one night was enough, but two nights is overwhelming what's gonna do next ask us to be his opening act'' Iman says. They then hear a knock at the door '' Girls it's C-boo'' aka Chris, C-boo is the little nickname the girls have for him. Sari glares evilly at Iman '' If you jinxed this somehow, I'm gonna throttle you'' hoping that Chris was not here to ask them to be the opening act. They open the door and welcome him in, he's still in his stage outfits while the girls have changed into their pajamas. '' Look Sari, Iman, Bekky and Tasha. I just wanna thank you girls so much for the past couple of nights doing a little opening number while I've been trying to overcome this stupid food poisoning. And you ladies are incredible like oh man, If Beyonce, Diana ross, Mama cass and Ciara were a girl group that's how I'd describe you girls.'' 

The four girls look at each other, happily taken away by Chris browns compliment. He clears his throat and smiled '' Well I came here to tell you guys...the old opening act is out and your girls are in, Good night'' he goes to walk out the door and the girls stop him '' WAIT WHAT!'' Bekky exclaims. He turns around to see four female faces not looking too happy '' Chris we can't open for you, besides we only sing together for fun.'' she adds, Sari and Tasha nod in unison and in agreement with Bekky's comments '' Yeah besides Chris we only sing covers, and acapella'' Sari adds to Bekky's observation. Chris brown smacks his lips '' Look come on girls, we cool, we friends. See this is I see it. I see four very talented dancers and singers, who should have more than just a backup spot. So get your crap together, cause you're my new opening act, no questions asked...ooh plus the wardrobe department will design anything you want them too for you. Sari looks at her three friends who are still in silence, she raises her hand '' We're in!'' it was definitely the free clothes part that got her and her friends to take the spot of the new opening act. Chri's backup band converse with the four girls and they go through music while the four girls go through choreography and ask some of the male dancers if they want to join. All of this was exciting, but at the same time a little too much for Sari.  

She was so happy to hear her mothers voice, '' I know mom but I just, I'm not the type of person who likes all eyes on me. And I realize how hypocritical that can sound seeing as I use to flaunt my body in front of people to make a buck, but you know what I mean I don't want any big attention'' she explains to Stevie her feelings on her and the girls sudden success as an opening act. Stevie on the other end, trying to reassure her daughter everything will be all right '' Look Sari-darling(her little nickname for Sari) it's just normal for this to happen. That's how you make it in the business you get noticed. Just be grateful you're not like me and you can get too noticed. I mean this afternoon when I left the hotel, I was covering my face as people were almost heckling me. As much I'd love to sign for them, it's just too much. So I do understand honey''. '' Wait why do you cover your face?'' she ask her mother, '' Because I don't want the world to see me with no makeup, and also a lot of people will recognize me'', '' But wouldn't covering your face with a bunch of photographers just attract more attention???'' she ask Stevie. Sari doesn't entirely understand the whole paparazzi dynamic and she did see where her mother was coming from. '' Yes, but if passer-bys see a bunch of paps snapping someone with blonde hair covering their face people will watch but at the same time they won't know who I am'', '' Aside from the fact that same people will be saying Stevie Nicks''. Stevie stops in her tracks '' Okay you got me stumped on that one. Well have you had any experiences like that?'' 

Sari smiles '' Yeah when we go out to dance in the crowd and watch when we've done our opening number and done our dancing with Chris, people will ask us for a photo and a sign. Honestly I just greet them, and treat them like meeting any other person. I say hi, they kinda blush and get embarassed I reassure them that I'm just as human as they are and we dance together.'' Stevie smiles, '' Well it's easy for you honey because you're just starting out, things can get crazy when you get bigger.''. '' See that's the thing, a lot of the musicans I like they're a bit like me, you know they're humble pie. They don't want to be seen as this Famous Icon they just want to thank and have a chat with the people who adore their work. I mean that's what I'd do. I'm not one who likes to ignore people...seeing as I've had too much of that.'' Stevie hears her daughter's tone deflate when she mentions that. '' Look honey, it's fine to do those things. I just hope you're safe and that you have some kind of sense when welcoming people in like that.'' She hears Sari yawn '' All right little lady I think it's time you go to bed'', '' Uh no way, I've still got half an hour to go til rehearsals are done'', '' Aw baby, well I hope it all goes well for you and I'll see you soon sweetie okay.'', '' Okay'' Sari says tiredly. '' I love you'' Stevie says, instead of a response she just gets a yawn and a little pause but then Sari realizes what her mother said '' Oh sorry, Yes I love you too mommy. bye.'' They both hang up the phone. Stevie chuckles at Sari's tendency to a bit like her dad and let her exhaustation get the best of her. 

Stevie looks at her watch '' One more month, one more month'' she says to herself....
