Secret Love

A vampires dream....

Lindsey and Kristen plan to meet Sari at her work. Kristen is absolutely beaming, she sits beside Lindsey in a booth, beneath her unbeknowest to the public is a big white box resting against her legs beneath the table. Sari is serving a couple of men at the bar, she's due for her break soon. '' I hope she loves it'' he whispers to Kristen watching his 'little girl' serve the two older men at the bar. As always she greets everyone with a big smile, but he watches the two older men getting a little to smiley with her. Kristen sense's his papa bear mode '' Hon, you promised Stevie and I no more papa bear in public places'' she whispers, reminding him of the consequences of intefering with Andy and Sari at the beach five months ago. '' Five months, it's been five months! since we've welcomed her back into our lives. Gosh Kristen I never would have thought, had I not had gone upon my gut feeling to find her that I'd be sitting here happily awaiting her to have lunch with us and see the present we got her.'' He takes Kristen's hand, '' here she comes'' they both watch Sari undo her apron to reveal herself clothed in a black skater-girl mini dress with a plain white t-shirt underneath, paired with doc martins.  

She comes over to Kristen and Lindsey, she gives Kristen a big hug happy to see her step mother and her father. They all order some food and water, as they wait, they talk...business. '' So Sari you're mother told me that you and your girl group will be performing at the Breaking dawn after party.''  Sari takes a sip of iced tea and nods '' Yes. We'll be performing a few songs in a couple of nights, for the rich and famous, me and my inferior coven of singers.'' she dramatizes her voice at the end causing Lindsey to chuckle '' not true, you're far more superior than them. I mean after all how many of them have your knowledge and experience in life.'' she smiles at him. Kristen clears her throat, urging him that she's so anxious for Sari to see what they've got for her. He snaps out of a trance '' oh right. Um, well in celebration and as gift for the sudden success of you and your group, you're stepmom and I we got you a little gift.'' Sari wriggles her eyebrows at them '' you guys really didn't have to.'' she gushes, her cheeks now very pinky and red. Kristen reaches down and grabs the giftbox, '' now I have a couple of friends who were so very kind to let us get this dress. When I saw it, It screamed you, and here's the good part...it's not coming out til april of next year, so you're the first to wear it.'' Kristen tells Sari. 

She passes the box over to Sari, who takes it from her hands gently. Sari still surprised at the fact that whatever is in the containments of this white box must have cost her father an arm and a leg. She closes her eyes takes a deep breath '' okay I'm ready'' she takes the lid of the box to find the item hidden beneath layers of white tissue paper, she folds back the crevices of the paper. The first glimspe, she sees black lace feels the material (it's real lace!) she unfolds another to see a bluey-purple indigo colour, she feels it '' real velvet'' she says to herself. She finally unfolds the last layer to reveal the dress, she clasp both of her hands over her mouth to cover her mouth that has dropped to the floor. '' She hates it'' Lindsey thinks to himself, Sari stares at the velvet and lace ensemble, '' My word'' she gasp in shock, she picks it up in her hands. It's a long indigo purple dress, the indigo part (the front and back of the dress) is made of velvet, the sleeves and the decolletage area both are made of black lace which follows down to the end of the dress tying in with the trend of lace on the sides of a dress,  the sleeves are short and would be positioned just slightly of the shoulder. '' This is an Azzaro bravo barantin, this isn't supposed to be out for months!'' she looks at Kristen in shock. '' So you know about it?'' Kristen ask, '' Know about it, my cousins told me about this dress, sent me a photo and I don't think I've ever fallen so hard in love with a dress.'' Lindsey laughs at Sari's priceless reaction. '' I can't wear this, this, this dress cost me at least six of my car payments I've made this year. Oh my gosh thank you'' she leans over and gives Lindsey a big hug, Kristen following him. '' So you like it?'' Lindsey ask, '' I don't like it, I love it!'' she gasp. '' I know it's in a couple of nights but oh I'd love to help you get ready, and see all you get ready.''
