"So, I understand you've grown quite the bond with, Mr. Carver." One of the guards on the other side of me snickered and leaned in to whisper to another guard: "I'm Bond, James Bond." As they laughed, the older guard in front of me rolled his eyes before glaring at me. After they dragged me from the elevator, they shoved a bag over my head and lead me to this small cement room with chains connected with the wall.

"Look creature, I don't have all day." At his side, his covered fists clenched in sync with his teeth. Hastily, I nodded and tugged at the chains holding me back to the cold cement wall. The rough metal crusted with blood and worn out from previous uses chaffed my neck and arms, slowly wearing away at my skin.

"Why am I here? What's happening?" I cried out as the guard's plastic covered hand connected with my cheek, the other two guards stopped laughing. My cheek stung and I felt blood gather in my mouth. Did I bite my cheek? Flashbacks from when I was a kid growing up burned against my eyes, the torture those kids would put me through was more pain than this. When did you become such a wimp?

"Hey man, Laeh said not to-"

"I know what he said!" The guard above me yelled, threatening them to not tell anyone what he did. With tails tucked between their legs, the two younger guards hurried out of the room and left the guard and I alone.

"Do you want to know what I did to your boyfriend?" So this was the guy who tortured Carver. "It was real fun to hurt that fucker, screamed every time I injected him with a little bit of bleach, not even that much, just a few tablespoons. We had to give him extra though because it wore off pretty quickly. By the end of those four weeks, we injected him with three and a half cups in total." He chuckled and walked around to my side, out of my peripheral vision, yanking on the chain that led to my neck, causing me to fall back into him.

"Do you know what bleach does to your body?" He whispered in my ear lowly, not even trying to hide the satisfaction in his voice. Suddenly, he lashed his arm out and grabbed a handful of my hair. "Answer me!" He roared, spit flying onto my face. A tiny whimper came out of my throat but I forced it down, not wanting to be weak again.

"No, I don't know." I ground out, not knowing what bleach even was. The guard smirked, let go of my hair, and stood back in front of me. Angry and near emotionless, I stared at him with contempt for hurting Carver.

"I don't know either, but boy does it make. them. scream." He crouched down to my height before chuckling, hanging his head down for a moment before looking over his shoulder. "Dr.Laeh made the bleach worse though you see. Mixed it with LSD." My blood ran cold. They injected him with LSD? Dr.Laeh did that?"You do know what that is, right? Of course you do, the look on your face says it all."

Dr. Laeh couldn't have done such a thing. He brought me supplies for Carver for all his wounds, but then again, he did inject him with a substance to contain whatever he was holding inside of him. Was it this bleach and LSD concoction?

"I don't believe you, Dr. Laeh wouldn't do that. He helped us." A sliver of lie made its way into my words. I did believe this guard to an extent, and thats what scared me.

"Oh, but wouldn't he? He works for us, he gets paid by us, and this company owns him. Why wouldn't he do what they tell him to do? It's nothing but another job for him to do. Just like all the rest of us." His voice dropped an octave to a sickly sweet tone, obviously mocking the tears gathering in my eyes. Seeds of doubt made their way into my opinion about Dr. Laeh.

"No, no, he wouldn't do that. He's nothing like you." The guard's face dropped into a monotony state.

"Just watch, you freak, watch how he looks at your body like he's inspecting and observing you. Watch the way he talks and shows emotions freely. Laeh only wants to gain your trust to use you in any way they can. That's all everyone does in here, uses you. Even your freak of a boyfriend."
