He looked up with tired eyes, clenching the ground with one hand and making a fist with the other. A Whire huffed repeatedly, regaining his breath. The Whire was a bull, having strength and weight working against Jay.
The bull pulled back his fist ready to smash Jay into nothing but lifeless flesh and bones. Jay quickly crossed his arms against his chest, dodging his crashing fist by rolling out of it's path. The bull grumbled in anger, missing his punch. Jay on the other hand, breathless and greatly bruised as he lied on the ground. Stalling for time was becoming a challenge, constant screaming and cheering rang in his head.

They shouted things like, "Kill the dragon boy!" "Smash his face in!" And "Fight back!"

Obviously beat and exhausted, he decided to give it one more try. That's all he could do at this point, stalling was pointless.
"He had to have a weak point, right? I need to stop thinking of him as an opponent and more of an animal. Think!" Jay lectured himself, slowly prying himself off the ground. He saw the bull getting ready for a charge,
"Treat him like an animal...." He mumbled softly as he stood ready. He had an idea, he looked at the back of his arms where another large area of rough rough scales had appeared. It was a risky thought but it was the only chance he had. The bull began to charge, he put his arms together in front of him. Jay stood guarded and dug his feet into the ground for support. When the bull rammed into him, Jay was gradually being pushed back and trying to stay grounded where he stood. He couldn't hold for much longer, the bull had strength against him. Momentum was his ally at this point, if he could break it, the bull wouldn't have enough time to redirect or turn. He took what little time he had left to look behind him, just a little longer.....
His timing had to be accurate. With the momentum launching the bull straight forward, he had to be a bit close to the arena walls causing him to run straight into it.

Just a bit longer....that's all he needed. The scales were starting to burn, he glimpsed behind him one last time before he broke form and swerved right. Stone cracked and crumbled, silence. The crowd made no sound after the crash and collapse of stone, the bull was strong, in a good way. The force that rammed into the wall, made a fair dent into it, the tons of large stone that were now weak in support. They fell onto the bull, died on impact.

Jay laughed, for the first time he felt so happy to have killed someone. He sat down, the audience booed and cursed at him. He didn't care...he was alive, sure he had countless brushes and cuts but he had survived. He heard the large metal gate open, the reason it ever opened is if....they let in another opponent, another person sent to kill him. He was still, there was no way he could stand a chance in another fight. The individual walked closer, he could hear the faint echo of clanking armor.
"Dammit! This is bad..." He whispered. He took a deep breath, "Alright, I need to remain calm."
The sound of clacking armor grew louder and louder.
"Think Jay! Think! What would Lunar do?!" he burst out, the some of armor stopped.

"Hmmm, tough choice. Well I probably would of used magic right about now, evaluated for any possible weak points, and use that information to my advantage. I thought I taught you at least that much." Lunar spoke, spooking the living hell out of Jay.
"Holy shit, Lunar! It's you! Are you okay? Did they hurt you? They did didn't they?!" He jumped up it utter shock and panic.

"No! I'm fine! I'm actually more worried about you, your bruised and I'm pretty sure you've broken at least a rib! C'mon, we are getting out of here. You can complain later." Lunar put his arm around her neck and helped him out of the arena. She still hadn't told the fact that she bet his life on something he couldn't agree to.

The both of them went to the Whire tavern, there was no way they could stay at the kingdom. Jay was too injured to make the trip to Ravenmire, they had no choice but to stay there for a bit. Lunar walked into the tavern again, had leaving Jay outside. It didn't take long before she was confronted.
"You! I can smell a human on you." A Whire stood up from the bar, so did others as they all looked at her. All she could do was ignore them and find Bazix.
She ran upstairs, seeing Bazix and Almun standing at their posts from before.
"Bazix, I need to ask something of you!" Lunar grabbed his arm and tugged him away from Almun.

"What's wrong?" Bazix replied after being dragged away.
"I need your help, my friend is injured, a human. I need medicine, a medic, something. I don't want to raise problems, he may be human but he's still my friend." Lunar begged of Bazix, he paused in silence to think but nodded.
"Fine, but I can't heal. I know someone who can, your not going to like it." He looked over at Almun and looked back at Lunar.
"No! Anyone but Almun! If he sees Jay, he'll kill him! I'm trying to prevent him from further injury, not make him worse. Is there anyone else?!" She panicked at a whisper. He shook his head. The only thing she was able to do, was ask for Almun's help...
