BEFORE YOU READ:
So up there you will find the official Handcuffs book trailer. I spent so much time cutting and editing and piecing it all together, so if you'd watch it before reading this chapter that would be amazing. I've been working extremely hard on this chapter, and I really hope it turns out great for you as readers and that you enjoy it. Also, this is the LAST chapter of Handcuffs, aside from a very detailed epilogue. I'm also planning on throwing a bonus chapter that's strictly Kale's POV in there as well. BUT, the epilogue and the bonus chapter will probably be PRIVATE, meaning you'll have to FOLLOW me in order to unlock the chapters so don't forget to follow!

And now...

Two months later

"I'M DONE WITH this Mitch. We got what we wanted. Darren's dead. We're at the top. That's all we ever strived for. But now? I have something else to worry about in my life and I don't want to constantly be on edge that something will happen. I'm done with the gang." Kale paced back and forth in the living room, his voice becoming louder with each word he spoke.

"You can't just quit the gang Kale. That's not how this works. Once you're in, you're in for life. If you leave, you know the consequences." Mitchell barked, rising to his feet.

The guys sat in their usual spots in the living room, watching the scene unfold. Addison sat in silence on the couch, her arm placed over her very large bump.

It wasn't the first argument the two had had about the gang dispersing.

"I have something to live for now Mitchell! I'm done. That's final."

"You've always had something to live for Kale! You're part of this just like the rest of us. Do you even remember why we formed this gang!" Mitchell spat, getting closer to Kale.

"Kale's right though Mitchell. We've got what we wanted. And we've come so close to getting busted. Killing Darren almost did it for us. We need to think rationally." Ian said, shrugging.

"Stay out of this Ian." Mitchell sneered.

"All we ever wanted was to be at the top Mitch." Mason spoke up, trying not to piss Mitchell off.

"I don't care! We knew how it was when we started this. Now that you've got a bitch on your arm you think you can just quit. News flash, you can't."

"Watch your mouth Mitch. You're crossing into territory where you don't belong. I'm not afraid to kill you right here."

"You're all talk and you know it Kale. I'm not scared of you. Just because you killed Darren two months ago doesn't mean shit."

"It still doesn't change the fact that I'm done with this Mitch! I'm done. After all, this is my house and you guys can leave. Go take your gang somewhere else."

Hearing those words made Mitchell furious. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. The only one who didn't speak up was Lucas.

"Lucas? Do you have something to add?" Kale asked, in hopes that he'd be on his side.

It would make Mitchell understand if each of the members were with him.

"We did know how this all works when we started Kale. It's not something we can easily finish."

Addison rose to her feet, walking up the stairs. She knew it would get ugly sooner or later, and she wouldn't want to be near the guys when it happened. She waddled up the staircase, finding it difficult to move since she was nearly seven months pregnant. As she climbed the stairs, she couldn't help but wonder why Lucas had chosen Mitchell's side.
