Alec PoV

''Jace stole the Cup'' I told my sister and she didn't seem surprised. ''Izzy, did you know about this? My God, did you help him? Did Mack too? The Cup is the only thing that can get you out of this.''

''Jace and Mack is doing what they think is right.''

''What's right? They put the whole Shadow World in danger. They put you in danger. And Mack is supposed to be your parabatai. Some parabatai she is'' I scoffed. ''We have to get them back here. With the Cup. It's the only thing that can help you.''

''They've taken Meliorn back to the Seelie realm. You can't track him there.''

''Not by any of the normal ways.''

''No, absolutely not.You cannot track Jace through your parabatai bond. It will weaken both of you. Or break the bond.''

''Jace already weakened it. How does he think I can trust him after what he did?''

''Me as your sister, I'd say ''Don't say that. Please, Alec. Think about what you're doing''. If Mack was here, she'd say, ''Alec, please don't. He's still your parabatai''.

''Hodge, you ready?'' I asked.

''Alec, don't do this out of anger. Jace is still your parabatai'' Lydia said.

''Lydia's right'' Hodge said.

''I'm not letting Jace sacrifice my sister for his girlfriend's pointless crusade. We're doing this. And if you don't want to help, get out.''

''I'll help but on one condition.''

''What?''

''You don't let it go too far. Now your bond with Jace can withstand a certain amount of strain. But you have to promise me that you won't let it break.''

''Jace is dead to me.''

''Alec?''

''You don't know how dependent you are on the bond, or how dependent you are on each other'' Lydia said.

''I have to do this'' I said.

''What about Mack? What happens if she'll be angry at you forever for doing this?'' Hodge questioned.

''For Izzy'' I sighed.

''Prepare yourself. This will be very, very painful.''

''Do it.''

Mack PoV

Me and Jace were fighting demons, I stabbed the one I was fighting, then I heard my brother grunting. I turned around and saw him on the ground. ''Jace?'' I sat down next to him.

''Alec!'' he screamed in pain. He kept screaming and then he closed his eyes. I turned around and saw a demon going inside.

''Jace. Jace'' I hit his head and he woke up.

''Did you kill it?'' he asked.

''No''.

''It went through?''

''Well, my brother was screaming Alec's name in pain, I was worried that the 2 boys I love is in danger'' I exclaimed, helping my brother to stand up and he gave me a questioning look.

''I have to shut the entrance. More demons are coming'' Merilorn said.

''What about Clary? You said you Seelies protect other dimensions'.

''We do.''

''There is a demon in there with a bunch of unprotected people.''

''Let us in'' I said. ''We can kill it.''

''If I seal the doorway behind you-''

''We know, the Portal is the only way out'' I cut him off and looked at my brother who nodded. ''We're willing to take that risk.''

''Remember, you won't have your seraph blade. Demons don't disintegrate in this dimension.''

''Go''. Me and Jace entered and then I felt someone kissing me. I opened my eyes and it was Alec.

''Oh my God'' I sighed, breaking away from him.

''Mack, what's wrong?'' he asked.

''Excuse me, I need to find my brother'' I said, running away from him. I went to downstairs and I saw Clary, carrying my brother, and Magnus ''Clary'' I ran to her.

''Mack? You are Mack, right?'' she asked.

''I am'' I replied and Magnus opening a portal. Jace and Clary walked in, then I followed and we were in an abandoned warehouse again. Jace is in pain, but I needed to ask him. ''Jace what did Alec do?''

''Parabatai bond, seems weak. He made it weak'' Jace sighed and I helped my brother up.

''Alec, is dead to me'' I hissed. ''You ok big brother?'' I asked.

''I'm fine'' he said, then we heard a loud banging. We turned around and there was a locker. The three of us walked over there slowly, Jace opened it, revealing a man, that I thought is dead. And this man, also made me almost joined Valentine.

''Jace? Mackenzie? Is that really you?''

''Jace, Mack, do you know him?'' Clary asked.

''He's our father'' Jace replied.
