Chapter 2

A couple days later and the twins were back at school, at their last period for the day. It was art class and both girls just so happened to get the same teacher for their sixth period.

Mia had three of her friends in this class, but Luna had none usually sitting at the back of the class. Luna was the teacher's favorite student as she had amazing skills for drawing and sculpting that beat the rest of the class, including her own sister who was third best in class.

"Now students, I want you all to pay attention as I am going to give you all your next big project." A couple students groaned. "Stop complaining or I'll make it more than 1/4th of your grade." Everyone stayed silent and had their eyes on the teacher, Mr. Jorgensen.

"Each of you shall choose if you want to do one or the other. Here are your choices. Paint me a picture that conveys feeling. Something that will make me look at it and feel what the picture is saying, put your heart into it."

"The second choice is to team up with three people and paint as well, a picture with feeling. Put your mixed emotions into one picture and balance them so it won't be all over the place."

"Teacher, when will this be due?" Seleen G. Lovato, Mia's friend, asked seeing as the teacher wouldn't speak.

"It shall be due in a month from now." The bell rang but everyone stayed in their seats. "Class is dismissed, have a good day everyone."

As usual, Luna was the first out of there and in her car, Lauren and Camila bought the twins a car but only Luna used it since Mia would always tag along with her friends or Frankie. Which is who she was with now.

Frankie had baseball practice for sixth period and always got out early so he could wait for Mia outside of class. As Mia and him were talking, something caught Luna's attention. By the band room, there was a small circle of the school's idiot guys, in the middle...The twin squinted her eyes a bit...in the middle was the girl who ran away with her heart and broke it.

In a flash, Luna was shoving the guys away from her and dodging their attempts at punching her.

"Well, well, if it ain't Loca herself. Here to defend this loser nerd." David Stromberg, the school's player, teased making his goons laugh.

"No, I'm here to-"

"How pathetic, you still care for her. I guess it's true what they say about a bitch. They always stay around even when no one wants them."

"I came here to fuck you up again. Have a repeat of what happened last time."

But before either of them could say or do anything else, Mia and Frankie pulled Luna away and got in the car.

"Hey mami, are you ho- MAMI!" Mia quickly rushed to her mother, while Luna grabbed the guy who had their mother pressed against the wall.

"I fucking told you I'd fucking kill you if I saw you around here you lil fucker!" Austin was caught off guard and received two punches to the face before he grabbed Luna and tossed her aside. Quickly heading for the front door, only to receive a kick to the groin by Frankie.

"Mami, mami. Are you okay?" Camila was full on sobbing "It's okay mami, he's gone. Don't cry."

"I'll make sure he stays away from you mami. He's gone, we're here now." The two girls embraced their mother while Camila was still sobbing into Mia's neck.
